Looking forward to Monday ... now wouldn't one wonder why Joe is out there filing new lawsuits when he should be concentrating on Edith's defense???

Maybe he wants her to be put away? ..... But ... then who would do all the research for all of his little lawsuits? I seem to recall him calling her the best little researcher he has ever met ... how romantic!

Clearly, this guy is addicted to filing lawsuits...he just can't stop, regardless of how much sense any of it makes. He has a big-time "jones" for the attention. As a side note, anyone else think that the timing for this particular suit was such that the ECTV loss would be easier to ignore?

As for the whole Edith point made by Lus, I'm wondering that as well. Now Pilchesky is an arrogant, egotistical, narcissistic, nasty (who the hell else would sue a Little League?) bitter, old man...but he's also calculating...which makes me believe that somehow he has the whole Edith situation under control. Maybe this means that they've already copped a plea deal that will be announced on Monday. Start taking Dramamine now, because if there is a plea, the spinning will definitely give you motion sickness.

As a service to all the DD readers of this site, allow me to provide a preview of the potential Pilchesky spin:

"In order to allow us to continue the fight against DOherty and his corrupt administration, we've made the decision to accept a settlement with the Erie County District Attorney's office. With this distraction behind us, we can now focus all of our energy........".

What you won't hear will be an admission of guilt, poor decision-making, the return of funds, etc. It will make the Patilla & Hubbard spin look like the minor leagues.

Sadly, I'm out of town next Monday to Wednesday...although I am tempted to lug my laptop along with me just to see what happens in the "Edith goes to the Pokey" department.

Okay, someone correct me if I have this wrong, but if Edith is innocent, then why not let the case go to trial so that the world (or at least some of Scranton' more bitter citizens) see it for themselves?

Could it be that there is some evidence that maybe the Pilchesky's don't want people to see, especially their "followers"? Also, I wonder how often in the future the point of "they pleaded no-contest to estate fraud" will come up whenever the serial-plaintiff tries to play the higher-purpose moral card during one of his legal expeditions?
