FACTS That Every DD Poster Should Know

As part of our on-going "Truth Squad" duties, I present a few facts that every DD poster should know. There is no exaggeration here, just a few of the facts we have presented over the week and months.

Joe & Joanne Pilchesky
1. Joe Pilchesky has had several run-ins with the law; not for protesting governmental corruption or graft, but for physical assault.
2. Joe Pilchesky's wife, Joanne Pilchesky, is facing trail over bilking the estate of her late father. The trial starts July 14th in Erie, PA. Among the irregularities discovered by a grand-jury investigating the case: Ms Pilchesky signed checks from the estate under two different names (Joanne Ricci and Joanne Pilchesky).
3. Joe Pilchesky's lawsuit history includes at least one suit againt a Little League.
4. Joe Pilchesky has referred in writing to an African American as a "N-word". The reason? Becasue the person in question is a reporter and apparently doesn't write the things Joe thinks he should.
5. By his own admission, Joe Pilchesky has spent well in excess of $30,000 on lawsuits, the vast majority of which he has lost (his winning percentage is in the area of 12%, meaning that he loses about 77% of the cases he files). By way of comparison, $30,000 will provide lunch for 120,000 starving children (according the to the UN's World Food Program).
8. While claiming to run a forum for "free speech", Joe Pilchesky regularly bans posters who simply offer opinions that differ from his.

Janet Evans
1. Janet Evans was a sitting Scranton School Board member when she obtained a full time teaching position in the Scranton School District. In Scranton, it's the members of the School Board who make final hiring decisions for teaching positions.
2. Janet Evans has a son, Christopher, who also teaches in the Scranton School District. Countless DD posters have claimed nepotism over the hiring of relatives of Judy Gatelli in the district, but none have ever mentioned the employment of Janet's son. Christopher is also politically active, acting as a campaign manager for Janet Evans.
3. Janet Evans is the only council person who does not have a city-provided "@scrantonpa.gov" email address so that constituents can reach her via email in a secured environment.
4. When Janet Evans previously did publicize a non-city provided (personal) email address, her husband, David Evans, admitted in this forum that he rountinely screened the emails sent to his wife. After that incident, her personal email address was removed from the official City Council page at www.scrantonpa.gov.
5. During her tenure on Scranton City Council, Ms Evans has not had a single major piece of legistation introduced by her become law. She did, however, find the time to run for State Representative during this tenure.

Ag ... Judy Gatelli's daughter did not get a teaching job with the Scranton School District. Mrs. Gatelli's daughter I believe got a job with the NEIU. I just wanted to clarify that ... the NEIU is located on Line St. in Archbald.

JANET EVANS FACT:

Despite her saying the city could ill afford litigations, she personally sent an emailto local bussiness onwers encouraging them to sue the city over the smoking ban in 2006.

I was more re-stating the rants that have been spewed about Judy's daugther by council speakers and DD posters than anything else. Where Judy's daughter works is immaterial; the imporant fact is that at the very least, the Evans Family is as guilty as others claim Judy is when it comes to feeding at the public troth.

The Evans Clan is more guilty ... as they are doing exactly what they are accusing Judy of doing ... and well ... lets see here ... Judy's daughter does not have a job in the SSD and Janet's son does ... hmmmmmm ... would that be a Hello Pot moment ... I think it would!
