I am the Master of Ceremonies (and if you come on time you may see me perform a number!!!) for the "A Night At The Apollo Revue" At the University of Scranton's DeNaples Center 8 p.m. Tomorrow, Thursday April 24, 2008. The event, presented by the University's office of Multicultural Affairs will feature a classic Ella Fitzgerald performance by my wife. Also appearing for very special performances are the legendary Motown group the Temptations, the 70's soul group the Winstons, The Sounds of Charles Lee and The Harlem Jazz Ensemble. Also in presentation/speaking roles are civil rights activist, New York radio show host and former Mount Vernon, NY Mayor Ernest D. Davis,Court TV's Diane Dimond, CBS Radio's Michael Schoen, Westchester County Democratic Chairman David Alpert and the very, very special guest is the operator and historian of the Apollo Theater himself Billy Mitchell!!!!
I wish I could Stacy it sounds like a great night out ... but I have a prior commitment and will not be able to make it ... I wish I knew about it sooner and I could have changed my plans ...... :(
