As I sit here and go through posts each morning I have Channel 16 on and this morning I heard something that I thought was worth posting.

On Friday April 4, 2008 the Junior Council will host a basketball tournamentat Scranton High school to help raise funds for the memorial to honor those who have died in the line of duty.

The event begins at 7:00 PM addmission is $3.00 ... they will have great food... baskets to raffel off ... this should be a great family event ... what better way for the citizens of Scranton to honor those who protect and serve us.

Let's help make this night a huge success.

Better hope no one twists an ankle or jams a finger. The LOD will somehow be able to pin a game injury on distressed city status and the mayor.
