Scranton Firefighters thread: Don't allow yourselves to be Pilchesky's next bad cause!

Everything that guy touches turns to sh*t. Don't let him get involved or say anything for you. Keep him away from you at all costs.

This thread is a place for firefighters and supporters of firefighters to voice their displeasure at the insane and spineless comments made by Joe Pilchesky on his Website.

How dare he attack these brave men and women in their struggle against the powers that be.

This thread isn't about the recovery plan or Chris Doherty. This thread is a place for firefighters to say what they'll get banned for saying at dd.com. Defend yourselves here - we chase no one away.

For the record Joe, its firefighter, not fireman. Only an as*hole like you wouldn't know the difference.

Here's what that peice of human garbage had to say about you:

Dear Fireman, those things hanging between your legs are NOT on-call to be used only when a fire breaks out. Use them when you're getting bitch-slapped, insulted and disrespectedby this mayor, as he has been for six years now. He's making a career out of humiliating all of you. Your press conference is too late. Capt. Robeson is dead.Pull out the 'other' hoses and stick them right up this mayor's ass. You have money, do you not? Use it.
Get sopkemen to council meetings repeatedlyand crush this bastard of a lowlife. Gervasi has a big mouth. Big balls. Speaks well. Set that prick loose on Doherty. Take the leash off him.
AND LEAVE IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARE YOU ALL GOING TO JUST SIT BACK AND DO NOTHING WHILE THIS LOWLIFE RUNS FOR MAYOR AFTER A FIREFIGHTER WAS KILLED DUE TO HIS RETALIATION AGAINST ALL OF YOU. SNAP OUT OF IT.

All of this from a man who wouldn't have the guts to enter a burning building. Sure its easy being a web screwball. Walk the walk Pilchesky - get out from behind the computer and spend one minute wearing the boots of a firefighter.

Hell Art he won't even come out from behind the keyboard to do what he tells others to do ... when did he go to that podium to do what he tells everyone else in this city to do? I don't ever recall him speaking ... so where are his balls?

I have the utmost respect for our Firefighters ... they are professionals ... they have a way of making you feel better after you just watched your house burn to the ground ... after you just watched your family history ... and all of your memories go up in smoke ... they are great and they deserve a contract ... one that is fair ... one that will give them the money that they deserve and I do think they deserve a lot ...

I remeber reading on DD in the past that all they do is sit out front and wait for fires to occur ... doing nothing ... being criticized by the group of goons!

Well let me tell you ... I would rather see them sit out front on a bench ... doing absolutely nothing ... rather than having fires for them to put out ... I have witnessed first hand how hard they work ... and have experienced their professionalism on the job ... how they try and make you feel better ... which I am sure is not in the job description ... but in the general makeup of each and everyone of these men/woman who have a great dedication to the citizens of the City of Scranton.

These men/woman put their lives on the line for us daily ... and I for one appreciate what it is that they do ... it's a calling ... because how many people can actually sacrafice their own lives to save others ... I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them!

THANK YOU for what you do ... It was many years ago that you all were there for my family ... but I will never forget it! It somehow stays with you ... and you will all be in my heart and my prayers as long as I live ... stay safe!

edited because I'm an idiot when it comes to spelling ............

What a gutless prick Pilchesky is. I hope and pray word gets out to the firefighters about this thread and they come here to vent a bit. That screwhead has no idea what those guys and gals are going through.

Contract negotiations are bad enough, losing a brother is devastating. The last thing they need after 6 years with no raise and losing one of their own is to let that moron give them advice on how to conduct themselves.

He'll get it back when she gets sent to prison. It would be considered contraband, even though it'sprobably quite small.
