From what I can tell neither JOey or Anti showed up to confront Stacey. JOey, JOey, JOey not another empty promise. I also loved how you tried to get Anti to man-up and he gave some dribble so that he wouldn't show. Great movement you got going at JOey LAnD.
RE: Stacy Brown - the keynote speaker I want to be front and center for this one looking that two-faced, disgrace to journalism right in the eye all night long. It's sad that Stacy Brown is the best they can do as a Keynote speaker on black culturalism when I know for a fact that Antisytemicmovements is available and would put Brown to shame on the subject. I just love the way the pull their collective ostrich heads out of the sands of reality long enough to suffer through these things. My God, of all people, Stacy Brown, on the subject of Black History. Here's a guy who is as white as the driven snow through anal injection, a man who watched as Washington Plaza's black populationwas vacated based upon onblatant lies that there areno firewalls there.I've never advertised in the Melanian News, but this may motivate a small investment. Let the truth about Stacy Brow'n' reach the black community, unless Melanie has an issue with that kind of freedom of expression.
RE: Stacy Brown - the keynote speaker I'm hesitant to say anything about the Melanian news, but I'm certainly critical of them for two reasons: a.) choosing Stacey Brown as keynote speaker and b.) being associated with Lackawanna College.
It seems their project is to memorialize the struggle for equality, not continue the effort.
For Brown, African American history reads like a romance. For Sam Patilla, African American history reads like a tragedy.
Sam doesn't celebrate MLK day because the job isn't done. Stacey, on the other hand, is a stage prop for racial equality, even in the face of systemic discrimination on the part of the administration. My god, the Lynotts and the Casey crowd dislike anyone who isn't Irish Catholic, yet we're supposed to believe they champion equality?
You can't celebrate black history two blocks away from public housing that is currently being dismantled. You can't celebrate black history not two blocks from where the city, beginning in 1960, systematically undermined and removed Scranton's black population out of central city. You can't celebrate a history that involves a city that hired people like Judy Gatelli to search out and destroy the homes of these people.
When you chase out the black population all you're going to be left with are people who live in Scranton because they have nowhere else to go; they can't leave. Nobody is more against thugs than black people who are just trying live, work and raise a family. Thugs make them all look bad, and they don't want that. The Sam Patilla types, unfortunately, are most of the people being pushed out of this city.

I think you should speak. You were the one knocking on doors with your clip board, asking residents if you could take measurements. You were the one who fought to save their housing. Not Stacey Brown.

RE: Stacy Brown - the keynote speaker There wasn't one resident I spoke with who didn't ask me, "What's up with Stacy Brown?" Those people were completely kept in the dark about what was going to happen to them, and while they were being hoodwinked and ambushed, Brown was writing that they were a part of the decision-making process and being kept up to date.
Anti, you're the guy with the gift for cultural and historical citations, no me. You should show up there and confront Brown on every point he makes. I'll go with you and take notes. We'll get Tee-shirts made up with Brown's face on it with the words "White men can't write" across the top.

Oh yeah Joe ... who throws around the "N" word and doesn't think there is a thing wrong with it should be the keynote speaker for black history month ... yeah that's a good idea!

Somehow I don't think you will be seeing Anti at the Black History Month event either. He's like a lot of Pilchesky's minions...full of internet guts.
Speaking of internet guts, I'm still waiting for a flyer from Milo (or whatever the hell he is calling himself these days)...I'm also waiting for Joe to serve papers at a council meeting...and I'm also waiting for the opening of 'Media Deceit'...anyone else see a pattern here?

I saw that post and I thought, how flattering PUKEchesky is JEALOUS of little old me. Wow. I also realized that he is still mad that when another reporter and I questioned him about 2 years ago at the courthouse and he was angry that his minions didn't show up to support him, he called his own posters "Bottom Feeders," and he took a little heat for it and turned on me. I guess that was equivalent to the handicapped ramp situation that led to the creation of his hate site. And whomever posts on their that is black, they should be the ones hanging their heads in shame, they are the so-called uncle Toms and house -------! By the way, I was aware that I had the power to keep the city from closing Washington Plaza. Also, from what I understand it was for the safety of all concerned and, as we reported a couple of weeks ago, they are going to make that place the Taj Mahal of housing projects. Anyway, I doubt that any of PUKE Boy's minions or himself will shell out the bucks needed to attend this great event. If they do, more power to them, all are welcome and it's always great to speak in front of a standing room only crowd. Let's hope that PUKE Boy doesn't bring his beast, remember dinner will be served as well.
Good point Stacy...I though the "Poltical MENSA" crew said that Washington Plaza was being torn down to make way for Lackawanna College parking. Guess they were wrong...again. I'm assuming that correction will come right after the retraction about Doherty getting a job in Harrisburg.
