Newsflash...at today's City Council meeting, Sammy Patilla firmly stated that because the city is distressed (and has been since 2002), it should not be handing out raises. Good thing the city's unionized workers don't have him on their negotiating teams.
Oh, and he kept referring to someone named "Mitch Management". Anyone know who this is???? Maybe he meant Mitch Miller?
When it comes to Pilchesky's followers, the material just writes itself...

Sorry to disappoint Paul, but the serial-plaintiff was a no-show. In fact we didn't even get a Franus to entertain us...just Les in his jeans from the Boys Dept., heavily whinning about how the US Constitution specifically allows him to say whatever he wants at Scranton City Council meetings.
I've wondered about the relative Pilchesky silence these days; perhaps he is busy with Edith's defense, as we've not heard much on that front in a while. Estate-bilking is a tough charge to defend against, as there tends to be quite a bit of evidence laying around.

I don't know if he can fit Edith into his busy schedule as he is very busy getting ready for the Golf Course suit which I am sure he is getting ready to file any minute.

Sam is going before Gerulo....he was at his hearing and Marie "hairdo" was there and only a handful of the other nuts He was given a chance to AGAIN Plead out to a summury and refused. He is Defending himself ( that's hilarius) When the judge asked him "do you want council to be here with you to assist you" he very loudly shouted NO, I have a good friend who is guiding me (joe P). His hearing is the 4th, actually they will pick the jury that day...and god knows how long it will go on. He has stated he will appeal it to the supreme court, FORTUNATLY he will sit in jail (if convicted) until his appeal (which it will never be ) is granted. Can't wait to see him in the Gold Suit and "gold Rubber bands" in his hair.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or feel sorry for Sammy. On one hand the guy is a clown who apparently feel that rules of civilized conduct don't apply to him. That's the laughing part. On the other hand, it's pretty clear that Mr Dreads is being spoon fed really, really bad adivce from a certain lawyer-wannabe. Pilchesky has a record in the courtroom along the lines of 2 for 28 (I think...feel free to correct)...who hear would...

That's the pathetic part. Sammy is being led by the nose by someone who is just using him as a cannon ball in his own personal war. Regardless of what you may think about Sammy, that's just plain wrong.
Sammy, if you are reading this (and we know you read these postings), take the freak'n plead. Pay a small fine and be done with this. This is not worth spending time in jail over and being away from family, not for one second. Stop listening to people who simply want to use you to make a mis-guided personal point that has nothing to do with you. On the other hand, if you continue down this path, you will have NO ONE but YOURSELF to blame.

When Mr. Patilla pulled this stunt, there were hundreds of posts in support of him across the hall, and now only one or two of the loyalists show up in the courtroom? Not even the chief kook?
Because he is old news now and they have all moved on and forgotten Sam Patilla.
