I strongly suspect that Sammy has been told to keep a low profile as his cases works it way through court. He wants to show that he's not a psycho, which might be hard if he has a current melt-down.

To your second question, I believe that arguments were heard on the case, but I've not seen an update. That could mean that some kind of deal is in the works.

Side Note: when Sammy was charged, the DD crew were crowing about how he was going to "own this town" after being found not guilty. Funny, but the crowing as stopped. Just for old times sake, here's the rant in question...

He keeps such a low profile that after this past storm, he waited until the dusky evening to shovel his walks. A day and a half later. Someone in a green minivan was chatting him up. Probably to tell him that they didn't get their copy of the paper and that he better not forget again.

Which reminds me. I believe that St Francis got a $20 donation from the Times Leader resulting from their subscription drive. I wonder if it was the one that Ozzy started up? That $20 represents 4 subscriptions, IIRC. What influence.

I don't see the Times Leader making a serious entry into Scranton for just that reason. Sure, the TL may bluster a bit about making a go of it here, but even they know that the Scranton Times has a lock on Lackawanna County. Scranton will never be a two newspaper town again...Ozzie Quinn is just having 70's flashbacks. Besides, the DD goons NEED the Scranton Times, just like they NEED Chris Doherty. What would Superman do all day if he didn't have supervillians to fight?

My Trial is scheduled to commence on February 4, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. ( I have a "MANDATORY" Appearance before Judge Geroula on January 24, 2008 at 1:30 p.m.) and I need the dates for the City council meetings that:

1. Fanucci stated she "Represents" the "PEOPLE" who put her there

2. McGoff made that comment relating to "POOR" People

3. Gatelli told Fay that she "DIDN"T represent her! (I also need info relating to if Jim Davis's aunt was ever convicted of selling drugs prior to, during or after her house was comndemed and eventually torn down.

I have been wondering since I read this post ... what the hell does Jim Davis's aunt have to do with Sammy's troubles .... and why is it important if she were convicted of selling drugs? I am confused on this one!

lol sounds like the defense tactics kids engage in..... youtry todeflect attention to the bad behavior you feel others demonstrate then either what you did won't seem as bad by comparison or you cantry the"they made me do it" defense. Never worked well in my house when the kids tried it...lolsomehowI feel it will be just as worthless in the courtroom!! lol lol

What happened to Joey boy helping Sammy with anything he may need for his defense ... didn't he even offer to represent Sammy at one point ... now he won't even help him gather the information he thinks he needs for his defense ... I find that very interesting!

Last but not least, looks like Camp SAmmy is using a "work" computer (perhaps at the Times) or has his paper route on an excel spreadsheet and needs to get on one of the more "secure" PCs at Camp SAmmy. Can't let the DA know about your sure fire winner of a defense strategy. DOh!!!

now why in the world would he need a secure computer to check a Scranton Site ... do we really think that they will care if Sammy is out there looking for old minutes that really have nothing to do with his case ....

I am still wondering what Jim Davis's Aunt has to do with Sam Patilla ....
