RE: The Mall at Steamtown starting to look more like a strip mall everyday!!! I heard rumors that at least the upstairs floor of the mall was being eyeballed by the U; and I heard that more than a year ago. Isn't it interesting that all the development (or as little as there is) benefits only the networked cronies in this area?

Here's a dandy - "the machine" offered Joe $40,000 and he turned it down.
Pilchesky has been approached by so many people with offerings to help in so many ways it's not funny. The "machine" sent at least three different people directly to him over two years offering him anything he needed from finances to getting records. I'm talking substantial amounts of money, up to $40,000.00.They took records (transcripts) to him as a showing of trust. All kinds of documents. He didn't bite because he doesn't trust anyone. He showed them the door and kept the transcripts and the documents. It's still the biggest laugh in town in certain circles.
Check this out. Some guy named Garvey looks for drunk people and calls the cops, then they get busted. So Olecki only busts people who exit bars that "Garvey" has been hanging around in. OK.
Garvey is so good, he also provides make, model, plate number and the names of people who are drunk. I love this theory.
I spent some time this afternoon with a party who shared an interesting incident with me. Sorry, no names of victims. At least, not at this time, but I do have them. Seems it's very possible that Officer Olecki gets an assist on DUI arrests. Myinformer tells me that there's a man named Garvey, or something like that, who stakes out clubs and taverns for DUI victims. Goes in and has a beer or so, long enough toobserve who has definitely consumed more than two. Garvey then tells Olecki who they are and theparty is pulled over on their way home, and, of course,he/she is screwed.(In this case, it's a she) Sooo, if this information is accurate, and it sounded like it is given the details provided, how many Olecki DUI arrests started with a little surveillance in the bar?
Ok, why would the DD poster give a rat's a$$ about how drunks are caught? Maybe it's part of a Jesuit/Irish/Italian/Rothchild/Illuminati/Skull-n-Cross bones conspiracy.

"Officer Olecki, its me, Garvey. OK, I've got a drunk for you. His name is Joe Pilchesky...he's driving a little red Corvette...license plate number PA-ILLDOJANET. Looks like he's had three, maybe even four beers. Should be pulling out of the Parker House in a few minutes, will probably take Sanderson Ave to Electric St, then turn up until he comes to Sunset. Go get him tiger. If you miss him tonight you can grab him any night but Sunday (the Lord's Day) at the Silhouette Lounge."
Really, who here, who anywhere, thinks that's happening? I once saw a black helicopter circling my house. I suspect it was part of the Shadow Government...the New World Order.
Yeah'...that's it. A New World Order. Damn government. They put a chip in my blood to track my movements. Tapped my phone lines. Offered me bribes. Suck it Commie, I won't buy into your pinko fantasy world!
Who's up for a golf ball size chunk of Lithium? Wow.
I never heard of a DUI victim before .... I have heard of Drunk Driving Victims however ... you know those who have been hurt due to the impairment of another driver who is under the influence of alcohol ... but a DUI Victim ... that's a new one!
If I go out and I drink ... and I have more than I should ... I made a choice to break the law ... if I get stopped and charged with a DUI ... well how am I a victim? Now the other people on the road if I should hit them then they would be the victim of my poor choice to drink and drive ... but when I get charged with a DUI I am certainly not a victim .... Just my opinion.

You think that DUI fines are going up as a way to discourage drinking and driving? HELL NO!! They are going up because tuition has increased at Scranton Prep and the University of Scranton, or so says DD's favorite racist, Anti.

Typical DUI costs $5000, that is if you obtain an attorney that is worth a damn
Wow. It must have doubled since the last I heard. The increase to 5,000$ is consistant with an increase in Scranton Prep and University of Scranton tution.
ICN lawyers have to compenste themselves somehow.

Wow .... that's rich ... only at DD and in the world of Pilchesky ... can the most absurd scenario be found for charging people with a DUI ...
Driving Under the Influence is a crime plain and simple ... it is not something that we do only in Scranton ... if you make the choice to drink and then get into your vehicle and drive ... well then you run the risk of being caught ... they are looking at things across the hall as if they are victims if caught ... and well ... they are wrong and I don't know many people who would back them up on this thinking ....
I guess any crime committed by any of the goons and friends of the goons ... the perpetrator would be the victim ... and the cops would be wrong in arresting them ... is that the way it works .... yet they have spoken ill of others who have been charged with DUI ... hmm .... it's very interesting when you think about it.

Now I just finished reading that thread concerning the DUI's .... and I have to wonder why poster Nelson did not weigh in on this????
Where is Ann Marie Stulgris on this subject?
The Union's are all over that site .... yet they are saying nothing about this thread ... why?

That's about the best explanation I can think of Lus for why Nelson & former officer Stulgis don't EVER correct Anti on his nonsenical written diarrhea, even when he blatantly slanders Scranton's police officers, who in my experience are simply the best.
Nelson, Stulgis and others like the fact that with Pilchesky and his goons, it's no holds barred when it comes to Doherty. Sadly, they are falling to what I think is the lowest depths of union behavior, the kind of thuggery that has given many unions a bad name over the years. They somehow rationalize in their own minds that Pilchesky is helping them, which is actually is not all that different from how I think Janet Evans views DD. What they fail to realize is that Pilchesky isn't out to honor Scranton's finest...he's simply in this for his own ego gratification. The man that once could physcially intimidate others now can't, so the shinking body is left to bully via the keyboard and the courthouse. Pathetic.
Yes, the unions should fight tooth and nail with the Mayor over the contracts...that's expected. However, the fact that someone like FOP officer and policeman Nelson A. (sorry, I don't want to misspell the last name, so I'll punt) lends public support to DD just serves to prove that union thug tactics are alive and well in Scranton.
One final thought: the FOP officers should remember another old saying... "when you lay with dogs, don't be surprised if you get fleas".

Your absolutely right AG ... and they are going to get fleas that's for sure ....
I just often wonder why when they are so proud of the job they do ... and most citizens are proud of the job they do ,... I won't say all ... but I know I sure appreciate everything they do ... why does the Union let them be slandered all over that site ...
Nelson claims to care so much ... but he himself says that the only "real" news is the news he gets at DD ... so in his mind that must make everything they say about his fellow officers as true and real?? What a shame it is that he and Stulgris are the Union officers ... they don't stand up for them when they are being slandered ... how sad!

RE: So, Hillary and DO are Allies?? Interesting! I read todays paper and couldn't help but notice that Hillary unexpectedly postponed her visit to the area.
Maybe her people read this sight too.
Maybe she thought better of the visit and decided to rethink what direction the visit will take when she does come.
Maybe she is smart enough to be President. I just might vote for her afterall.

He just needs a bank account in the United States to send the money to temporarily in order to keep it away from the local military junta. Send your account to him and he will let you keep 10% right off the top. Interested? I'm thinking you will be, as apparently you will believe anything.

Maybe they did and she is not coming because they said no point in going there, they are a bunch of idiots and are probably too stupid to know how to vote. :)) Thanks again, goons, for making Scranton look awful again.

This region is so important in the PA Democratic primary, and thus, in the 2008 presidential election, that I would bet EITHER candidate would be willing to sing karaoke at your toddler's birthday party.
PA is a 50-50 state, leaning Hillary. If you are a Lackawanna County Democrat who can sway even a hundred or so voters, you have reached VIP status.
Pennsylvania in March/April will look like Iowa in January.
Speaking as a Democrat (although a fiscally conservative one), I still don't know who I will vote for...and I have watched debates and read web-site position papers. Hey, maybe I can get Barrack to come over and help me do some yard work.

LOL the first one of the three who shows up to do some chores around my house gets my vote. I may have to send out my address.<typing out the emails>
Actually Glen you are probably close to the truth in that this will be a very competative race for PA's delegates. They will both be watching their P's and Q's very carefully. However all of that being said, I am fairly certain Hilary didn't postpone her appearance because of the goons. She may however skip over stopping in this particular corner of PA in order to avoid HAVING to deal with the loons, if they really are e-mail spamming her people. She is probably afraid of them. I know I would be... they sure do come across like a bunch of loons.

Hillary coming to Scranton High, Mon. Mar 10 Just received the information that Hillary Clinton will be at Scranton High School on Monday night, March 10, at 6 p.m. No tickets are being sold, it's first come, first serve.
I was always wondering who was on the other end of that red phone that Hillary was talking about answering at 3 am. Well, now we all know.
Edith should have just used the NADB cut and paste tacticfrom the Time's website, which posted this at 1:35 pm 37 minutes earlier.
So, Mayor Doherty gets 15% from the business community, huh? I'd say that qualifies as a RETARDED DD Rumor.
Oh, and this reads like one of Pilchesky's postings. Nice try Joe. Warming Janet up for when Edith takes the long vacation to SCI-Muncy? I'd be careful there Joey...in as much as you are a ego-manaic with personality disorders, Davey Evans is genuinely psychotic...we're talking "poping Thorazine like M&M's" psychotic...and I think he'd be a lot tougher to handle than a sleeping drunk.
Evans is a babe Posts: 1 Date: Jun 7 9:23 AM, 2008 Views: 23 Trust me, Dave is the real deal. Janet is so sophisticated and he's so genuinely ignorant. Talk about opposites attracting. If she ever had a rock solid and mature man for a husband, she'd be in Harrisburg, if not Washington, by now.
Moving on, however, I believe that Mayor Evans would be a breath of fresh air to the business community. For one thing, no more backdoor money. No more 15% for the administration. For me, that's a plus to know the mayor is not grafting. She'd be a fabulous mayor, and we all know it.

I'm sure that business people who read/hear of postings such as what "Evans is a babe" (damn, I feel soiled just writing that) wrote walk away with a not-so-positive impression of Ms Evans herself. So by that measure, I hope the DD trolls keep it up. The more outlandish the rumor...the more stupid the posting...the worse Janet Evans looks.
