It's not a political football or a contract dispute that killed him.
It was his courage and willingness to make sacrifices as a public servant. No amount of money could have changed that.
Everyone thanks him and his family for the sacrifice he made Sunday. Its sad, tragic, unfortunately a risk that comes with the job, and an all too often reoccurring story. They are our best and bravest.
Shame on Joe and his scum for pointing fingers on this one.
Sincerest condolences to the families of Captain James Robeson and Richard & Maria Fenstermacheron on their losses today.
There aren't words which could convey our heartfelt sympathy. We pray that the ever Blessed Virgin Mary holds you in her arms and consoles you and provides strength at your time of need.
Many times we forget that every response to an emergency can end tragically. There are many who place their lives on the line each and every day and we are very appreciative for their commitment to our safety and well being.
God speed, you will all be missed.

Not one mention of the Fenstermacher family that also perished. Mr. Fenstermacher was a retired teacher.
If Joe had any shame at all, that thread, and by extension, this one, would not have appeared.
And if Joe and the rest of his IDs really had any respect for the deceased, he would have at least spelled the man's name correctly. This comes from a man who cannot bother to get his father in law's service record correct before invoking him as an inspiration and while his wife robs the estate blind, so I guess I'm not all that suprised...
My sympathies go out to the families of those who perished in Sunday's fire. It's very tragic ... and all should be remembered.
I had the pleasure of meeting Capt. Robeson on a few occasions many years ago ... at Cub Scout meetings ... he will be missed.
I did not have the pleasure of knowing the Fenstermachers but am sure that they equally will be missed by those who knew and loved them.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the families of those lost and hurt in this fire.

He will be there to watch over all of his fellow firefighters when they are called to duty to run into a burning building to lay their lives on the line to save ours.

I was out of town most of yesterday and today, and upon coming back from NJ I heard this sad news on WILK.
My sincerest codolences to the family of Captain Robeson. Whenever someone gives their life in the service of something greater than him/herself it's a truly a sad event, but it does remind us that there are still some heroes in this world.
Gott Segnen (If my German is correct...) to the family of Richard and Maria Fenstermacher. My wish is that their many years together on Earth is just a prelude to an eternity together in Heaven.
