I know that for many, it seems hopeless to fight the corrupt political and media machine in our part of the country, well known nationwide for how devestatingly corrupt it is here. Pre-Doherty, it's at least always been recognized for deep seeded corruption, but Chris Doherty and the Lynett-driven media have raised the stakes. The strength of this "machine" is defined by our willingness to allow it run us over time and time again. They have the advantage and they use it, and well they should to cover their cost of high maintenance.

However, we've seen the vulnerable underside of this "machine" when it relentlessly attacked council speakers, the uninos, Janet Evans, myself and anyone else who is a threat to sustaining their power and authority. We've seen it turn cowardly yellow and stoop to some of the worst journalism to redirect the truth or to disguise it. We've also seen it drop to its knees when it had to rig elections and use desperate manipulations todistort facts to win elections.

It may not look it, but it's a "machine" with loose lug nuts on its wheels, and what has loosened them is freespeech, our tenacityand the sharing of information thatpierces their veil of authority and exposes them for what they are. This administration run by Doherty and protected by the Lynetts has its back to the political wall. It's pinned there and can only escape if we let it. Just as exposing all this corruption is new to so many of us, the corrupt acts done were also new to Chris Doherty. No question, he's good, but the corrupt actsdidn't come with directions as to avoid exposure, or what to do when caught by the people. That's where he's at right now, caught by the people in so many corrupt acts and lies. In 2008, all of his corrupt acts come around to revisit him, one by one, but in close towof one another.

I will lead thisattack, and I will lead it very publicly. It's time to strike now.The political amunition is plentiful.This administration is properly situated for a aggressive, hard-hittingpoliticalattack, and an attack is what's planned. Stay the course. Keep information coming, whether it be through this forum or confidentially. 2008 is payday for all of our hard work and anxiety.Remember, justice is ajourney, not a destination. Yes. Joe is right. People attacked the innocent speakers - and Joe. At no point did the speakers or Joe ever illicit a comment.

PS: Is "Uninos" Hispanic for unions? Joe needs to edit that for clarity. I thought he hated Hispanics.

it's going to take until '08 for him to.... get rid of <insert name> bring down <insert name> expose <insert name> for the love of Pete how many years is he going to say "this is the year" before the morons get his number? Most of the people he is "after" could be dead of natural cause due to old age before he gets around to actually doing anything, but stroking his own ego. What a blowhard!!

He wasn't finished spewing predictions for 2008. Check out this gem in reply to a previous comment about council limiting time on (how long janet can drone on and on during) motions. Personally I feel this is a FINE idea, joe however, feels differently.

Apparently a poster crow eaters over at JOey LAnD called JOey out on his rant and following is JOey's reply. It took JOey over an hour to craft his reply.

JOey I believe that everyone sees right through your empty and broken promises. I feel sad for EDith and little JOey because how many times have you let them down? Notice a pattern here JOey, council goes on recess and you tell everybody the big bad JOey is going to show up at the next meeting and blah, blah, blah...

If you do show up, dress appropriately, tell EDith not to wear her "I'm with IDioT >" tee shirt, be nice to Ray & David. Be very, very careful with your interaction with QUeen JaNuT (don't want to give that away or get DAvid upset), speak slowly, annuciate clearly and don't let them see you sweat.

I'm almost certain that 'Crow eaters' is Pilchesky himself, as the post smells of "whipping the troops up" kind of stuff. Joe knows that a threat to him will almost certainly generate the requisite defensive postings from him small band of followers. If it isn't Pilchesky, then maybe it's some loon like Storm'n Carmen.

Personally, I don't think that Doherty and Mellow* actually care all that much about Pilchesky, Joe likes to crow about how he's "rained political death" in Scranton, but the reality is this: the only person he has harmed was Bob Cordaro...and that was a softball pitch to Pilchesky (the man with the 2nd biggest ego in Lackawanna County) from Cordaro (the man with the biggest ego in Lackawanna County). It's was the equivalent of Pilchesky finding a lucky lottery ticket...all he did was bring it to the store.


(*) By the way, I'm not a fan of Bob Mellow...or his brother. Bob Mellow, in my opinion, represents a lot of what is wrong in Harrisburg. Nowhere is this more evident than Senator Mellow using taxpayer money to have projects named after himself. I have a better idea...the next time Bob Mellow uses our money for some pet project...say a theater...let's name it the "Taxpayer Theater" instead of the "Mellow Theater".
