When prodded into speaking of her husband's proclivities at Chez Pilcheski, the missus finally graced dd with this little ditty.

RE: Three questions for Joanne Pilchesky

Once you step into the public eye, forget about your private life. Joe chose to be in the public spotlight over and over. Hmmm, what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander. OK to run Gatelli's and Fanucci's private life through the mill, and many other 'public' people, but not the main man. He's public property now. Why the silence from Joanne?

I understand your point, and it's well taken. I agree, my husband voluntarily put himself out there. He's as much public property as anyone else who ventures into change in the public eye, so I offer this insight for you since you asked. He's changed a few things politically speaking through the courts and through free speech. His intentions are to continue to do that.I hope thisinsight helps you to better understand who "he really is" for whatever your reasons are to need to know.

From the day we met, I quickly recognized that he was a very strong willed person. He's a workahaulic, but if you tell him that, he'll say what he does isn't work because he enjoys what he does, whatever he may be doing. He's very physical and domineering, but he knows its time and place. He's an incredible communicator, very spontaneous and very quick. Men his age, close to 59, usually posses a lot of wisdom, but he's at a different level of emotional understanding. He sees things much differently as to why people do the things they do.

He'sa life person, more interested in human function than anything else. He doesn't care if he has $5.00 or $5,000.00 in his pocket.Three years ago he disconnected the cable TV because he said it was too distracting and consuming valuable mental time to do other things more life giving and enjoyable. At the time I was upset with him, but what has happened is that we live a much more interactive life within our home without it.He was right. It was more distracting than I could have realized. We don't miss it. In fact, it's much better without it. I'd recommend it foreveryone.

On a person note, his favorite passtime is writing, types proficiently, and(talking). He's working on several books, all at the same time. His favorite food is lasagna (you can gethim to do anything if lasagna is the carrot). Favorite movies, Seabiscuit and anything where the little guy conquers the favorite. Favorite color is blue, any shade. He's an Aquarian true and true: Headstrong, likes taking charge, has all the answers, independent (too much so), inquisitive, extraordinarily witty and funny, intelligent, embraces loyality, remembers only what he wants to remember, can argue endlessly, gives everything and expects everything in a relationship, wears his heart on his shirtsleeve, gives second chances and has absolutely no respect or patience for plastic people. He can talk a dog off a meat wagon, puts people in their place bluntly and unexpectedly, and most kids can have their way with him all day long (sap). He often buys up to 200 goldfish and releases them into the wild. He was a highly successful youth baseball and basketball coach for 30 years and played semi-pro football for several years and wants to go back for more (of a beating).

I like to refer to him as the lemonademan. There isn't anything he can't fix or build. He's completely renovating our Victorian home and his workmanship is to die for (he goes way overboard, but there's no stopping his creativity). You'd have to see the fireplace he built for me to appreciate what I mean. On the somewhat wild side, he's a biker. He runs with a wild bunch of other bikers who ride quite fast and quite recklessly for my liking. I'm waiting for the day that I get the call tocome scrape him off the pavement or a pole. He's had some very, very close calls and has gone down twice. He has 9 tattoos.

On the nasty side, (I use the term conservatively) very shortfuse with certain people (abusive), long fuse with others and no one knows where they stand until the fuse burns down.Confrontation is not an issue for him.He likes it. It doesn't matter who it is. He'll intervene for othersto helpsolve their problem, but he will not often let others intervene for him. He's very skilled at mental warfare (as time will prove out here).

Domestically, he's very well trained (someone did a good job there). He helps with everything around the house without asking but I did have to draw the line at helping with laundry after he ruined several shirts (women know what I mean). Romantically, he hasmissed an anniversary or two but knows how to make up for it. His poetry is exceptional in terms of reaching the heart and mind. Supportively,he's aRock of Gibralter at all times. He's my best friend and I'm his.He has difficulty saying 'no' (l love that part).

And that's who my husband is in my eyes.
Well, isn't he just the busiest of bees... The only thing I get from the above, is she has to hang a plate of lasagna around her neck to get him to pay the slightest bit of attention to her.

So, let's analyze this, and read between the lines a bit...
I understand your point, and it's well taken. I agree, my husband voluntarily put himself out there. He's "out there", all right...

He's a workahaulic,
and Joann is illiterate... but if you tell him that, he'll say what he does isn't work because he enjoys what he does, whatever he may be doing Even SHE has no clue what his point is.... He's very physical and domineering it's called spousal abuse, dear..., but he knows its time and place. He's an incredible communicator talking out of his ass is not considered "incredible"..., very spontaneous and very quick let's leave his shortcomings in the sack out of it please. Men his age, close to 59, usually posses a lot of wisdom, but he's at a different level of emotional understanding a 6 year old level. He sees things much differently as to why people do the things they do.

He'sa life person, more interested in human function than anything else. He doesn't care if he has $5.00 or $5,000.00 in his pocket
You, on the other hand, are all about the finances, or you wouldn't have robbed your father, right?.Three years ago he disconnected the cable TV because he said it was too distracting and consuming valuable mental time to do other things more life giving and enjoyable He didn't understand the shows or he didn't pay his bills, which one is it?. At the time I was upset with him, but what has happened is that we live a much more interactive life within our home without it. More time for beatings, I bet. He was right. It was more distracting than I could have realized. We don't miss it. In fact, it's much better without it. I'd recommend it foreveryone Without cable, there's no 61. Yet you'll bitch about the cameras coming out. Make up your mind already.

On a person note, his favorite passtime is writing
has he written anything we may have read?, types proficiently so can a room full of monkeys, and(talking). He's working on several books Everybody Poops, Calvin and Hobbes, and Green Eggs and Ham to name just a few, all at the same time so's my 7 year old. His favorite food is lasagna (you can gethim to do anything if lasagna is the carrot). Wow, lasagna. What discriminating tastes! The same can be said about Garfield the cat. Favorite movies, Seabiscuit and anything where the little guy conquers the favorite. Favorite color is blue, any shade. He's an Aquarian true and true: Headstrong, likes taking charge, has all the answers except when it comes to the courtroom, independent (too much so), inquisitive, extraordinarily witty and funny, intelligent, embraces loyality, remembers only what he wants to remember natch, can argue endlessly as evidenced by his endless stream of unsucessful lawsuits, gives everything and expects everything in a relationship, wears his heart on his shirtsleeve, gives second chances and has absolutely no respect or patience for plastic people Hello!! He's a Janet Evans Fan!.He can talk a dog off a meat wagon, puts people in their place bluntly and unexpectedly, and most kids can have their way with him all day long must be great to have something in else common with Jay Hastings(sap). He often buys up to 200 goldfish and releases them into the wild You really think we're that gullible? Crazy people feed pigeons all the time, how is that insanity any different?. He was a highly successful youth baseball and basketball coach for 30 years and played semi-pro football for several years and wants to go back for more (of a beating). Yet he's known primarily as "that crazy guy who's always suing the City." Interesting...

I like to refer to him as the lemonademan. There isn't anything he can't fix or build. Except a sucessful lawsuit or the political climate in Scranton. I'm waiting for the day that I get the call tocome scrape him off the pavement or a pole So are about 80,000 other people. .He's had some very, very close calls and has gone down twice. Better luck next time. He has 9 tattoos. Big deal, I have 5. Proves nothing at all.

On the nasty side, (I use the term conservatively) very shortfuse with certain people (abusive SEE??? I told you), long fuse with others and no one knows where they stand until the fuse burns down.Confrontation is not an issue for him.He likes it. It doesn't matter who it is. He'll intervene for othersto helpsolve their problem, but he will not often let others intervene for him. He's very skilled at mental warfare (as time will prove out here). 0-23 is it?

Domestically, he's very well trained (someone did a good job there). He helps with everything around the house without asking but I did have to draw the line at helping with laundry after he ruined several shirts (women know what I mean). Romantically, he hasmissed an anniversary or two but knows how to make up for it. His poetry is exceptional in terms of reaching the heart and mind. Supportively,he's aRock of Gibralter at all times. He's my best friend and I'm his.He has difficulty saying 'no' (l love that part).

And that's who my husband is in my eyes.

Yep, threw up a little.

A few thoughts:

That dump is not a Victorian home.

He's writing books just like he's working on a newspaper. The one edition he did publish a few years ago was a copy and paste product of his Website word for word - and he spelled the name of it wrong. He called it "Scranton Political Times's. Incorrect.

Release 200 goldfish into the wild. Why, is he retarded? All those 200 goldfish become is food for all of the other fish, not to mention releases fish into local waters that are not native - and therefore- don't belong.

Very skilled at mental warfare. Clearly not skilled enough or as much as he thinks he is. 1-28-1 is no track record to be proud of. Time and time again he simply bans posters who pick on him or outsmart him.

He has 9 tattoos. Wow, Fantasy Island only had one.

Not only they don't belong and become fish food ... but I do believe it is a violation of the Fish and Game Commission ... not supposed to even move fish from one lake to another unless that lake has the same species in it ... if it doesn't it's against the law to introduce a new species into a lake!

Where into the wild is good ole Joey putting these goldfish anyway ... Leggets Creek?

::::Where into the wild is good ole Joey putting these goldfish anyway ... Leggets Creek?::::

Gold fish are native to China, so maybe she means he takes them home and throws them in the bathtub?? I have heard it's pretty "wild" around his house. :)) Oh and yes it's against the F&G commision rules to put non-native fish into the "wild" as Edith calls it. For a non-native fish the local bird pond would be very "wild" and they would die! So Joey once again is wrong, and an *******. :)

Joe posting he's doing anything is not proof of anything. See any post where he vows that Doherty's or Gatelli's or Fanucci's (etc., etc., etc.) days are numbered, or that he'll serve lawsuits each meeting for 6 consecutive weeks, or that he's suing any of us, or that a new "website" or "newspaper" is on the horizon. There are hundreds of similarly styled and worded posts to choose from. Take your pick...

His saying he's going to do anything is a pretty sure sign that he's either NOT going to be doing it, or that he's about to fall on his face in a most spectacular failure.

And we never failed to fail, it was the easiest thing to do."

- Crosby, Still & Nash (The Southern Cross)

Kinda sums up the bravado for me. The sad part is that there really is a place for dissent in Scranton...too bad Pilchesky pretty much as turned his site into a circus.
