If Joe were to drop dead of natural causes, how many people would attend his memorial services?

My estimate is the same number of people who would vote for him if he ran for a public office.

About a dozen people who are non-related to him. That's assuming that the dozen people who are non-relatives have access to transportation.

In addition to replying to this thread with a guess of the number of attendees, please feel free to include a line for his eulogy. God willing that will be many years away.

The eulogy may include a "cyber-eulogy," meaning his passing as a web host, not necessarily as a mortal being.

Peace.

I'm not sure about any eulogys, but there would be a block party in the 800 of Sunset.

This is a tough one Art.

If Joe were to drop dead of natural causes, how many people would attend his memorial services?
I'd say 5. Here are the names:

Fay "for the people*" Franus - Joe was "for the people" afterall

(* "The people" Fay speaks for are herself, two cats, and a parrot)
Sammy Patilla - Edith will need consoling
Nelson A - Bemoaning the loss his only source of "news"
Edith Pilchesky - She will be in the corner, reviewing the bank records, with Sammy holding her hand
Janet Evans - Like most glad-handing politicians, she attends just about anyone's funeral (my family has order to kick her out if I die and she shows up)

It will just be another day for everyone else, Chris Doherty included, as in the final analysis Pilchesky really didn't matter anyway...although I suspect that certain court clerks will be very happy.

Please feel free to include a line for his eulogy.
"Here lies Joe Pilchesky (yawn)."

Oh I think you are wrong ... I think that there would be many people in attendance ... not for the reasons most go but these people would be lined up around the block at the viewing ... but they would be there to make sure that he were really gone! The tears that they would shed would not be for the loss that they are feeling ... they would be tears of joy ... for the City of Scranton just may become a better place without all of the hate.

I would go!

Suggested line for the tombstone:

Here lies Joe Pilchesky: Please try to confine your urine to his grave - the people resting on either side are innocent.

Very good Art as the neighboring graves should not be defiled because Joe was a rotten bas*ard!

I don't imagine I would be the first one in line poking him with a sharp stick just to make sure.

Your right Girl ... I don't imagine you would be ... what a sad thing when you think about it ... here you die ... and the only reason most people would come to your viewing is to make sure that it's really you ... that's sad don't you think?
