RE: Did i hear correctly last night. The cameras aren't recording This is classic Doherty scheming. Lest we forget the money he listed as spent on Nay Aug Park ( 1.9 million) in comparison to what we actually got for that money. Nor should we forget what he voluntarily did by breaking the American Water contract (6 million), or firing the health care costcontainment committee administrator (7 million), or using the golf course trust fund to help realtors (1.2 million)...and more. But, it's also classic political stacking of city council and all the authority boards who are complicit in his accomplishing these bait and switch programs.
If the lack of function of the camerasis a legitimate concern, of which Bll Courtright is apparently aware, and city council does not take investigative action, then Ican only view itas a willful violation of thepublic trust oftheir obligation to ethically and financially represent the taxpayers. If any of our public officials neglect to make sure that our dollars are spent the way the legislation was passed, or to make sure that our dollars aren't diverted from their original purpose, then those public officials are as complicit as the one performing the magical shell game.
But, to drive the point home to those who voted for McGoff, Fanucci and Gatelli, and to those who don't care enough about this city to get out on any given election day, we get what we deserve.
thank you, thank you. It's so nice to have a recent comment from you. It's especially nice that we've been treated to a glipse of your unfaltering moral compass in action. If there's anyone out there with experience in fiduciary responsibility and trust, its you. Complicity is topic discussed regularly in the Pilchesky household as well, I'm sure.
