Check out his little dig from Red rover. The dolts at JOey land don't even realize this poster's bustin their chops. Even JOey doesn't know how to respond and tries to make the **** smell good. Refresh my memory - wasn't it JOey and the JOey Land Diciples the ones againt Washo & O'Brien. Even JOey was pushing for Codaro, all of a sudden he wasn't for BObbie. And BTW - JaNut's spawn did a wonderful job with ROgan, just like MOmmy's failed attempted at State REp. What is he 0-2 now?

Let the history books show that it was Joe and his fearless competitive spirit that took Bobby Cordaro all the way to the Supreme Court and spanked him like he should have been spanked. It was Joe who brought Bobby a whopping dose of humility and opened the flood gates to Cordaro's fall from a very high perch. It was Joe who shrugged off two crony decisions and brazenly marched into the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and stood his ground so that Cordaro could be publicly undressed as the unethical man he is.

That took commitment and fortitude and the LackawannaCounty democratswill beeternally thankful for Joe's deed as a private citizen, not even being a lawyer.
Bobby Cordaro was taken down by the common citizen, and not by politics. He did other things to hurt himself, but getting caught lying on his financial statements is what started the downfall.

A tip of the hat to Joe Pilchesky, the one-man show that started the whole show.

Keep in mind that he and the rest of us aren't going anywhere. It's only the beginning of accountability around here and with a damn good start.I hope your dems feel good about that, too.

Rover,
I have followed your posts closely, and since when do you speak on behalf of the Democrats? You were the same guy warning Joe not to mess with Big Bob, and now you want to giveJoe all of the credit for Bob's demise? The candidates and their supporters worked their asses off, and they deserve the credit. Great job everyone, and good luck.

Pink, the post rover put up is pure sarcasm. It's his way of telling all of us that thanks to Joe we have O'Brien and Washo to deal with. Cordaro got what he deserved and Joe's effort was justified in the end, but Joe didn't cause the prison scandal and he certainly didn't cause Cordaro to hire his friends in high positions.

I'll take the compliment, Rover, sarcasm considered. If you think I didn't weigh the politicaloutcome of my attack on Cordaro's financial statements, think again. I had a lot of people thinking for me and begging me not to initiate the proceedings. They begged harder for me to not appeal to Commonwealth Court and I actually lost two close friends and a family member when I took it to Supreme Court. I'm not here to play politics or give and take. I haven't said anything flattering about any of them in advocate form. Bob Cordaro couldn't have won this race if he gave out free passes to the superbowl. I think we all knew that in our hearts. I did like what I saw in his spirit to fight, I'll admit to that, but a lot of people acknowledged that spirit. He played every card but the right card, and that card was to take responsibility immediately for filing the first financial statement fraudulently, and then follow that up by filing the right one immediately. He should have withdrew immediately instead of making the court system his enemy. Had he done that, there would have been no Supreme Court decision. It was all downhill from there.

No matter who his opponents were, they were going to benefit from Bob Cordaro's inability to embrace humility for its given purpose. He's right where he belongs now, embraced by the humility he refused to accept. Manipulation is life's truest boomerang. It always returns to you in the winds of humility. It may take some time, but it shows up at your door sooner or later. Time proved his arrogance to be denial. That whichhe denied as the truth showed him no mercy, and the political machine in this area should take note of that.

This movement is still in its infancy, but this election and the attendant turmoil has educated us a little more than we were yesterday. We'll keep marching. It took the machine a long, long time to understand how the people think and respond in order to take advantage. It'll take a while for us to do the same. Until then, the light at DD is going to shine brightlyand expose everything we find out.

Very well said. And very, very true!

Yes Preacher he was supporting Cordaro in the end ... just look through the posts ... I love that he talks about the "movement" being in it's infancy ... some movement ... they couldn't even stick together to accopmplish Mr. Pilchesky's dream team for what he believed to be better city government .... which as I recall was Mr. Courtright and Mr. Rogan ...

So we have

Washo and O'Brian as the majority ... with Munchak as the minority ... not what Mr. Pilchesky wanted at all.

and on Council ...

We have

Courtright (you got one) and McGoff .... nothing changes ....

Give up politics Pilchesky ... seems as though you couldn't pick a winner if you tried!!!!

Some Political Guru you are !!!

After the Primary let us know who it is you like for President and that way we will know who the next President will be .... the candidate you don't like!

As far as Courtright is concerned, I voted for him with the phrase "know thy enemy" in mind. Now, in a few more years when it comes time to vote Big J out --- it will be an extreme pleasure.
