Nothing reported on the website for the local Erie newspaper, but that's not unexpected; sometimes these things aren't reported on until after there is a verdict.

The docket sheet says the trial is set for 0930 on 16 March court admin room 204. 

The last entry is 2 March where Edith appealed to the Superior Court of Western PA to appeal the denial of the stay of trial.  So depending on Superior Court, this may not begin on 16 March.

The UJS Portal states that Edith's public defender filed a motion to recuse the judge from the trial today.  This motion was denied by the court.  I think the court has had enough of Pilchesky and called shenanigans on all these motions to prolong this trial.

Now if this were a public official engaging in all of these delay tactics, you had better believe that Joe would be on it like a fly on $hit.  All these attempts at delaying the trial do create an air of desperation.

What's wrong Edith, getting a little worried????

I read the replies to Joe's post on this subject and found many of them to be simply amazing.  I think Pilchesky could actually murder someone, explain it away as somehow being Doherty's fault, and you'd have the same crew of lackies nodding their approval to Pilchesky.

Sure loyal DD posters...it's all Chris Doherty's fault.  In fact, he grabbed Edith's hand and forced her to sign those checks.  He even told her to have one of the checks made out to 'Joanne Ricci'.
[Yes, the above does sound stupid, but not more stupid than the crap Joe wrote in trying to defend Edith's estate bilking.]

Amazing how gullible some people are in this world.

Hi Joe, I know you're probably pretty beside yourself over this incredible ordeal, but in all fairness to the transparency you've lived by since showing up out of nowhere you have to admit that you have complete control over what gets posted here. I'm not accusing you of anything, but we don't read the board 24/7. We don't know if things were taken down or edited.  You could be allowing only posts that make you look like the victim for all we know.
My aunt works for a courthouse in another county, no need to mention it. She works in the Register of Wills Office. She's telling me that if your wife got screwed anywhere in the Register of Wills Office in Erie then it has got to be in writing and in the record.  She said there has to be a written record of some sort to prove that office put the screws to your wife and caused all this trouble for her. 

That being said, I'm calling you out.  Well, you or Joanne. Post the documents that were filed with the Register of Wills in Erie.  You bust everyone else's balls to deliver the truth or shut the fvck up. You ride the writers for the Times into the ground all the time for not being truthful. You're the most respected hardass in this city for being blunt and confrontive.

Better than 50/50 chance that this post from 'County mounty' was a plant by Pilchesky himself...just part of his sad excuse of a campaign to "prove" that his wife isn't guilty of estate fraud.

Note that other posters...including some here...have told Joe the same basic thing (namely "put up or shut up") and have been banned as a result.

Joe will keep spinning this like there is no tomorrow...he has to, as there is nothing left to this case but rationalizing the guilty verdict.

I simply love a man who is short on words and long on "put up or shut the fvck up".  Works for me.  I'm actually posting from the law library at the moment, but I'll be home by 7ish at which time I shall "Post up".  The Register of Will is a man named Fezner.  There is not only documents, but there's a transcript regarding what happened in Erie that threw this whole thing into a mess. An unnecessary mess, I might add.  The transcript will speak for itself as soon as I post it.

This is just his sly slick little way of making it look like Joanne had every right to do what she did ... I can't wait to see the documents that he scans in ... Oh and I wonder ... do you think he is going to use that magic scanner of Joanne's ... you know the one that changes words and letters in the original documents .... hmmmmmm

Now I thought that there would be documents that showed fraud on the Register of Wills part in Erie ... now it comes what it really was ... another hearing that the Pilchesky's wanted to delay ... and they were refused ... Now Joanne your hubby is such a legal expert I have a very hard time believing that he could not find a way to represent you in this, or at the very least come up with a list of stupid ass questions for you to ask ... oh what they don't allow silly nonsense in Erie ... oh well.

As promised, albeit a tad late due to attending the NP School Board meeting tonight, here is a copy of the transcript from when the Register of Wills held a hearing on the opening of Joanne's father's estate. To set this up, Joanne recieved a petition in the mail claiming that she had a copy of her father's original Will. The Register of Wills directed her to personally file an answer to the petition by appearing in Erie and hand delivering it to the office of the Register of Wills, which she did. The petition wanted an explanation as to why Joanne shouldn't deposit her father's original Will, which explanation Joanne provided.  But, there was no mention anywhere in the petition that there was going to be a hearing on awarding the letters testamentary and that testimony was going to be illicited from anyone.  As the transcript bears out, when she found out there was going to be hearing without her having benefit of a lawyer present, she objected and asked for a continuance so she could get legal counsel. That was refused. They held the hearing without her. (It is very interesting that he seems to always make this claim when they are on the losing end.  I thought that they were fine legal minds)

While Joanne appeared there unrepresented under an ambush, the evil niece of her father was there with a lawyer. She knew a hearing was going to be held. The transcript includes the testimony of two witnesses, the evil niece and an elderly woman who lived with Joanne's father for five years before he died. (This is the first mention of her father living with a woman isn't it?)Mind you, they're testifying knowing there is no one there to cross-examine them and challenge their answers.


Face it Joe ... you helped you wife figure out a way to get the money ... you didn't care if it was legal because after all it's not your money ... just like it isn't your house and you didn't owe the taxes ... your wife did ... so this is just another case of it's not your fault (I'lll bet you spent that money) it's all on your wife as it was her father and she is the one who made out a check to herself.  Now let me ask you this ... if she thought that there was nothing wrong with what she was doing why make a check out to herself using her maiden name?  Why not just transfer all of the money over into her account via a cashiers check?????? You can explain it 10 different ways and there is no way that you will convince me that the woman who actually took care of Mr. Conrad (the evil neice) did the wrong thing ... your wife was estranged from her father for years ... and then all of a sudden loves him more than life itself ... come on ...

Oh and since he lived 6 hours away from you ... and never lived with you ... how do you explain Doherty Deceit being about a ramp for a man who was never going to use it???? Another one of your stories shot to hell.

I read this and to me it seems as though they are saying that Joanne was notified as to why she was in Erie that day. Put up a copy of the letter she received asking that she be present in Erie.

Now she made a clear and concious choice to not take part in the hearing. Her reasons ... she didn't get the ashes so she won't participate .... LAME!

She is using this to cover her tracks ... a memorial service can be held without ashes Joanne. A memorial service is just that a service held and people come and the loved one is remembered ... have the damn service already. This is a poor excuse and you know it. You made the choice to leave and not know what was said ... and you know it ... you may be able to blow smoke up the asses of your little cult like sheep ... but anyone with half a brain can figure out that you were only trying to delay so you could cover up your crime.

Hope the orange jumpsuit suits you!

Joe loves preaching to his choir, doesn't he?  It's almost as if he needs a constant level of affirmation in life in order to feel fulfilled.  At the end of the day though, when you strip out all his bull$hit, you are left with one basic fact in this case:  she took money from an estate that she wasn't entitled to.

As for the ramp, people like Anti believe that becasue they want to believe it, facts be damned.

How come Perry Mason Pilchesky has never mentioned all the civil court cases he has appealed to the Superior Court of Western PA regarding Edith?

I can not find the original civil cases that Edith appealed BUT I would venture to say that they must not have gone in their favor if they appealed to the Superior Court.

I thought Joe never loses on appeals?  Oh I forgot that corruption has spread from Scranton to Lackawanna county all the way to Erie and the Western Superior Court!  If it looks like B/S, and it smells like B/S, than I don't think it is corruption.
