RE: Mentions of this site in the press - imPRESSive!

There is only one local site that I try to avoid driving traffic to, PD, all others can be cited. National attention may be closer than anyone realizes. I've been busy. This cesspool called NEPA needs exposure. Lots of exposure.

LOL, what a nervous nelly.

How about this little tidbit from Edith the Nincompoop...

RE: Mentions of this site in the press - imPRESSive!

Here's some press from a website out of Maine called commondreams.org talking about the Gatelli anonymous poster lawsuit.

Here's one of their mission statements, and
their 'about us' page.
If you read some of the comments published on this page, it shows a national readership by some very famous people.

NewsCenter's roots go back to the early 90's when Common Dreams Editor Craig Brown (bio) was the chief-of-staff to former Congressman Tom Andrews.

It's been said that dreams are our roadmaps to the future. If so, where are we headed? Common Dreams is a national non-profit citizens' organization working to bring progressive Americans together to promote progressive visions for America's future. We are committed to being on the cutting-edge of using the internet as a political organizing tool - and creating new models for internet activism.

Our struggle against corruption and for free speech is apparently being watched from as far away as Iceland. Here's a copy of an email I received.

comment: Admire your courage and clear (even vulgar) language. You are protected
by the First Amendment in your constitution. Our freedom of speech comes in number
73 in the Icelandic constitution. The first 72 are mainly burocratic and meaningless
rules such would be (in the American Constutition): The president shall live in
the White House and the representatives shall work on Capitol Hill. We envy you
of this. However we are following your struggle against (alleged) corrupted politicians
from another continent, Europe.

Good luck.

Edith stumbled upon this scholar while trolling the Reykjavik Craig's List for a whale oil sale. (Joey likes the trans-fat qualities)

But seriously... What a bunch of whack jobs. And has anyone else noticed that "Garbonzo Beans" might have had his identity jacked by Joey?

Why does Pilchesky try to ignore us? Maybe it's because...

...we don't kiss his serial-plaintiff a$$?
...we are not 'affraid' of him? He is nothing but a old, shriveled up bully. I have a size 13 Hush Puppy with his name on it (and that's not a threat).
...we call him out on his utter bull$**** "Free Speech" comments...specificially about how he crows one thing, but does another when he bans posters for the high crime of disagreeing with him.
...we point out that he tolerates and encourages biggoted rants from that racist piece of human filth, AntiSemiticMovements?
...we point out that, for all his lawsuit mania, he is an utter failure in the courts?
...we point out that he allows outright lies about people he doens't like on his site (Gatelli, Fanucci, McGoff, Doherty, etc.) , but will censor the truth about people he does like (Evans).
...we point out that he has used the personal tragedies of others (such as a suicide) to further personal vendettas?

He can pretend we don't exist, and that's just fine. But we will be here. We will be watching. And while his crew of followers may check common sense and decency at the door of DD, we don't.

WE ARE WHAT PILCHESKY HATES THE VERY MOST: INTELLIGENT THINKERS WHO DON'T BLINDLY ACCEPT HIS SPEW.

Yeah - that's right -- let them continue to compare themselves to other sites -- Pilcheski's use of the internet is cutting edge, my arse.
