This is among the most retarded things I've read on DD in quite a while. Given the collective IQ of the typical poster there, that's saying quite a bit, Black. (Of course, you also misspelled your own user name, so I guess we're getting what we paid for...)
O'B/Washo swipe Evans' campaign slogan There it is, in billboard form on Green Ridge St. O'Brien's and Washo's face right under the words: "Putting the taxpayers first"
Janet Evans' billboards and yard signs said: "Putting the people first"
Nothing like being original. I wonder why they didn't steal Doherty's slogan, "Don't take the bait"?
Do us all a favor and close your mouth when you breathe, OK?
Hey Black hellicopters - notice the timelines. I stopped after 10 minutes of researching.
What a D*CK HEAD. Please, please don't reproduce.

Yeah I see how it was Janet that coined the phrase ... "Putting the People First" ... Not!
Thank you preacher ... maybe this is what the goons need to see to show them that their Queen is not really an original!

Washo and O'Brien will put the taxpayer first. That would be people like You and Me. Not people like Joe Pilcheski, who screams from the rooftops that he does not pay his taxes.
Janet Evans puts the people first. HER people. Dimwitted and ridiculous people. Foaming, rabid and nasty people.
I thought Janet had the copyright on: "Worthless loudmouth at your service, don't email me unless you want to talk to my husband. Doherty sucks, my budget is for real, I don't know Joe Pilchesky, I vote no, and Mr. Saunders, send a letter to..."
No had Washo and O'Brien used any of those I'd be pissed.
"Ja-ay ..." now that's a blast from the past. Notice how she always uses that lilty, little sing-songy voice of hers to speak to Jay, or to ANY man for that matter, but when she is speaking to a woman or directing a comment toward a woman, she's speaking as if she is speaking to a remedial third grader?
Let's be fair here. Mrs. Evans didn't invent that slogan - politicians have been using it for years. Here's a book Bill Clinton wrote before he was president by that same phrase. It was the theme of his 1992 presidential campaign. Lamar Alexander used it as well.
I'm sure that AntiSemiticMovements will soon discredit the post from Garbonzo Beans as just being a part of a conspiracy involving the ICN, the Jesuits, the IHM's and Lackawanna College. He's a smart guy you know...he can use words like 'imperical' in a sentence.

Besides Art ... didn't the Clinton's spend time in Scranton? I'm sure Bill Cinton robbed that campaign slogan from Janet on one of his trips here ... they have been here for family funerals ... baptisims ... all taking place at the little church on Court Street ... and then they have been here on occassion for family visits ... so I am sure that Bill saw that ... possibly Janet used it in her bid for School Board years ago ... as that is the same picture so I'm guessing it's the same sign with the only change being ... which office she is running for.
You know Bill stole if from Janet ... there is no doubt in my mind!

Damn, you guys are good. I retract my statement. Janet thought of the slogan - you proved it. Didn't the guys who wrote the Constitution "put the people first" though? I mean the damn thing starts with "we the people." I'll have to Google it (or maybe Researcher could), but I don't think Janet had any input into the Constitution. (Although she's got the hairstyle down)
Governor Morris of Pennsylvania was put in charge of the committee to draft the final copy of the Constitution. Other men who had much to do with writing the Constitution included John Dickinson, Morris, Edmund Randolph, Roger Sherman, James Wilson, and George Wythe.
Possible Evans links: -She's from Pennsylvania -The first four letter of that Dickinson guy's name.
The U.S. Constitution is the work of several men, directly and indirectly. The three most notable Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Thomas Paine.
Possible Evans links: -A guy named Thomas "Paine" helped write it. Drop that "e" in Paine and you've got what Janet inflicts on the weekly TV audience every time she opens her yap.
Possible proof Evans didn't write the Constitution: -The 16th Amendment authorizes the Congress to lay and collect a tax on any income. That's what the amendment says, and that's what is does. Clearly that had to be written by Doherty.

I think your right Art ... It was definetly written by Doherty! How blind we have been.
