As many of you know, I've been annoying our friend Shari in an effort to find out who she is at DD. So far Shari hasn't cooperated, and in all honest I don't blame her. Why? Because if she does tell us one of two things would happen: 1) Her mentor Pilchesky will get pissed off, as he doesn't like the flock to wander OR 2) We would see for ourselves that she participates in some of the maniac rants. So what I am I to do?
Well, not being one to give up easily, I came up with a creative solution. I have a good friend...actually my former boss...who teaches a college-level English Composition course and business-writing skills on a free-lance basis. Now this person, Jean, isn't from Scranton (she's from Randolph, NJ) and wouldn't know Joe Pilchesky from Stash Pulaski. Anyway I asked Jean if she wouldn't mind comparing a sample of Shari's writing with that of ten frequent DD posters, in an effort to see if an identification were possible. Well guess what: Mission accomplished. Now before I spill the beans, here are a few postings from the as-of-yet unnamed DD poster. See if you can guess who it is (note - these are pasted right from DD, without any editing by yours truly):

They create the mess and then bitch about what they've created. And Anti, I was the one who brought the "creative class" philosophy to light here. I guess DOherty didn't read the second book which brought to light the mistakes many communities made while bringing their mantra to use. Any guesses? Well the "Master of Suspense Steven King" I am not, so I'll just come right out and say that, with greater than 90% certainty, Shari is DD poster Bo Peep.
What gave it away? Well, Bo is a good writer...much better, in fact, than most DD posters. For example, Bo knows how to correctly use commas (at least most of the time), knows how to use an apostrophe to indicate the possessive case, capitalizes proper nouns, and is pretty consistent in her sentence structure. That, when combined with the elimination of some DD posters that Shari obviously isn't (such as Joe & Edith Pilchesky, AntiSemiticMovements, Glenn C., Nelson, etc.) leaves few, if any, other DD posters that fit Shari's writing style.
So there you have it. Now Bo, let me start the denying off for you:
"Aga, you are so wrong..."
"Aga, F-you"
...etc., to which I say the following in response:

Oh, as for having 'contemp' for you (per the Minicozzi thread), I assure you that contempt is not what I feel. In fact I feel nothing for or about you. No, this is just about observations...about writing styles...about lying...about participating in the slander/hatred that is pervasive in the orbit of Planet Pilchesky. So plesae don't flatter yourself. You are tolerated here, mainly because, unlike your mentor Pilchesky, we don't ban people for simply disagreeing with any of our opinions.
One last point: 'brokeback Bob'? You must have gotten more than a few yucks and high-fives from that racist pig Anti over that one. Personally I think Bob Mellow has done a horrible job representing the area*, and I've never voted for him, but I just don't see how rumors about his sexuality have anything to do with his on-the-job performance.

I have a buddy who works with the mentally challenged. I'll ask him to compare some of the dd.com writings to Charlie Manson's Helter Skelter, Ted Kazinski's Manifesto, and the musings of David Koresh. I'd be shocked if one of them wasn't a dd.com poster
Well done Ag. We suspected it all along - but the proof you offer is good enough for me.
I never could figure out why (other than fear of a tongue lashing by Joe) Sherri wouldn't give up her dd.com ID. It makes sense to the reader to be able to follow the thoughts of one person under one name, but I guess paranoia overrides logic in this case.
I think Shari/Bo never wanted us to follow the postings from site to site. He/she wants to be able to engage in a reasonable debate here and then go to DD and do things like making mocking gay comments. Nice gig while it lasted, but it's over now.

I don't need any assistance in recongnizing this pattern of writing, because I remember engaging in this kind of double talk myself as a teenager, when I got my butt caught doing something I wasn't supposed to be doing. Naturally my Mom rarely if ever got fooled by it. I am not fooled either. How about you just answer the question with a simple yes or no. :)

First, if Bo Peep really is a male, then I'm sorry, but that's just plain sickeningly wierd.
Second, as for why we care, it's actually pretty simple...Shari claimed to be above the DD fray, disagreeing with that racist pig Anti, etc.; of course telling us the DD identity would allow us to actually verify this, and given recent events I can see why Shari/Bo wanted to keep that a secret. Bo is waist deep in the DD crap, with his/her only claim to rocking the DD boat fame being the support of Evie Rafalko McNulty. Even then he/she folded under criticism from the DD goon squad.
However, I do see your point about attention. Outside of this thread and referring to the poster as Bo, I'm done with this particular exercise.
