There's another local message board dedicated to bashing the posters here, myself in particular, that is emailing many posters trying to direct their attention to "must see" posts at that board. Be warned that the Administrator of that site is grossly unethical and underhanded. IP addresses of anonymous posters who have registered there have been made public. The administrator has allowed others to use my name as a poster name, and only the threat of a federal lawsuit forced him to remove all such posts. Now, their claiming Stacy Brown personally contributes to that board. Others have had their personal names used illegally and fraudulently. Please use caution if you visit there. I don't recommend sending an email to that Administrator for any reason since your email address may very well show up in a post, as well as your email content. He's done it to others. Registering there will definitely put your IP address at great risk.

I would suggest not going to that other website at all. One trick they can do to get your IP is thus:

* Someone sets up a domain name.

* They put an image on that domain

* They post that image on their bulletin board

* When you click on that bulletin board, and that image is loaded on your browser...

* They can then go to their domain and see all IPs that have viewed that image.

Just don't go there unless you are doing it from a library, internet cafe, or wherever you are that is NOT at home or work.

P.S. 1) The posts are still there. Your "threat" didn't work. 2) "Others have had their personal names used illegally and fraudulently." WTF? Unless we're signing up for, acquiring, and then using credit cards or something, this is jst a bunch of made up nonsense and you know it. What law(s) is being (are, have been) broken here?

Doesn't he realize that MANY websites require that the poster's IP address be visible along with their profiles and sigs? It tends to weed out the real loonies.

Guess what dips**t? I have your IP adress Joe, everyone here has it, everyone you've ever e-mailed has it. Who cares.

WTF good does having an IP address have? OK, now you know the IP address of the computer someone was posting from - big friggin' deal. That doesn't prove who made the post.

Does that tool not realize that EVERY email you send has an IP address attached? Yep, even your Hotmail, gmail or Yahoo anonymous accounts.

Lastly - why would anyone there trust him? He the nut threatening lawsuits all of the time. Who here has ever threatened anyone? Christ, Pilchesky edits and deletes posts, bans anyone who disagrees with him, uses racial slurs, attacks people with no proof, allows wild speculation, homophobic rants - the list is endless.

And he's telling people that Lus is unethical and we can't be trusted. Holy crap - he's completely gone off the deep end.

Oh geez i hopeI didn't screw something up I posted a reply to Bill Lumbergh in the thread he created and while my post remains in my profile sheet the whole thread seems to have disappeared. I am so sorry Bill if I did something to make that happen. I have no clue how to do it but that doesn't meanI didn't accidently do it anyway, I am a total computer dunce!

Well all I have to say is this:

The posts are still up Joe ... and will remain up.

Stacy Brown does contribute to the site ... the validity of him using his own name has been checked ... he provided a phone number where he could be reached ... he has proven that it is the real Stacy Brown.

All IP addresses can be made public as you are well aware ... it's a click of the mouse ... check the box in the Administration Panel and every post will have an IP address attached ... it's not underhanded or sneaky ... it's an option ... I do not use it ... but I could if I make the choice to ... You are CRAZY!

A cease-fire with the guy who thinks it's ok to malign and belittle children on his website for the whole world to see?

A cease-fire with the guy who thinks it's ok to use racial slurs inreference to blacks, jews and anything else in between - again, for the whole world to see?

A cease-fire with the guy who thinks it's ok to rape the city and it's residents with multiple frivilous lawsuits, simply to feed his own bruised ego?

The guy can go pound sand up his ass for all I care. There is no fire to cease. For all the disgusting and insulting and accusatory crap that's been spewed across the hall, what we do here is the equivalent of thumbing our nose and giving a loud raspberry in their direction.

For him to actually make these comments across the hall, we must actually must be having some sort of impact. We know the die-hards like Fay and Janet won't question him, but he and the missus must be receiving pm's left and right questioning him. And the best of the best part of it all --- is that dave evans started this snowball rolling.....
