He was hired often in the Poconos by various hotel and resort owners, like Split Rock, Foxfire, Paradise Streams, Lake Naomi and others to clean up construction projects that fell way behind schedule or were being robbed blind. He'll probably be pissed for mentioning this, but he did quite a bit of work for a man who became know at Teflon Don. None other than John Gotti. Gotti owned a lot of property down on 209 near Swif****er and JP made sure contractors were doing what they were being paid to do.JP has been to Gotti's home. I know, because I was with him twice. JP always got an envelope stuffed with Broadway plays as a gift. Gotti and his rich frineds wanted to fly him all over the county checking on projects. They liked him for his straight foward style. Ask him. Sorry JP, but the judges need to know they're not dealing with just a political activist. None of these crooked politicians have seen the real JP yet, he's teasing them. They'll see. He is not a man to screw with, and he's the last man you pick to insult his wife. Judge Minora, intentional or not, guaranteed, flipped THAT switch. You can't find a more loyal friend, but cross him and you're dealing with the nastiest man I've ever known. So, he's buying printing equipment? And the fact that orchid is oh-so-sorry for divulging all this infoand has not yet been "edited for clarity", makes it sound to me that orchid is displaying some pilcheski tendancies. Ok, one of my best frineds in college was from Queens. I go to his house one day and ther eis litterally a shine to gotti in his parents house. I thought it was weird and asked about it. He told me his father worked at some nite club back in the day and Gotti helped him make extra cash through construction blah blah blah. I talked to his dad about it. After talking about Scranton he saud how Gotti was involved in stuff there. the kicker is he said John was real ignorant when it came to anyone from outside his close nit group. He ONLY delt with one guy . He mentioed his name and i had never heard of him and i forget the name now. IT DEF WAS NOT JOE PIL>

I'm not much of a mobster, but I've seen all 3 Godfather movies, Goodfellas and a few others. Funny thing is that all of the guys in those movies have one thing in common. None of them walk around talking about working for the mob. Read a few books about the mob too. Same thing - no one walks around saying they are in or work for the mob. Take a look around town. Buffalino, D'Elia, DeNaples, you name an alleged mobster and I'll show you a guy who would deny the existance of the mob let alone being part of it.
So now we have Joe. Not just a guy who did some work for a mobster, a guy who did BIG jobs for THE BIGGEST mobster. Yep, the "Teflon Don" couldn't find any mobsters that work for him in the greater New York/NJ area to get the construction projects under control. He had to go to Scranton to find an out of work garbage man who did time for writing bad checks to get stuff done.
I'm not buying a word of it. The closest part to reality that any of that post may contain is that, perhaps - just perhaps, Joe worked on a crew once that had a guy who said he worked for Gotti once upon a time. No way Joe ever got asny closer than that. The mob is all about blood, loyalty, lineage, etc. They wouldn't trust an unknown tard like Pilchesky to rake the front yard let alone manage construction projects.
Art I totally agree. However i dont think it is fair to lump Mr. Denaples in with Billy D'elia or Russle Bufalino. Denaples is not a mobster or mafia kingpin despite the ill informed masses of NEPA would love to believe. He is just a succeful business man with an Italian last name. If his last name was o'brian, then he'd be the leader of the irish mafia or if he was russian then he'd be in the russian mafia.
Clarification: I was only using the aforementioned people as examples of local men with "alleged" mob ties. You're right; despite allegations, no one has ever connected Mr. DeNaples to the mob.
