The Cult-o-Pilchesky is overdue in producing a "I've heard that Chris Doherty will be [fill in blank here]." rumors, so naturally they are working overtime to catch-up; you can link to the thread HERE. Funny, but according to that crew, wasn't the Mayor supposed to be appointed to something or other by Governor Rendell at the beginning of the year? In fact, I'm thinking that words like "it's a lock", "sure thing", etc. were used to describe that previous claim.

Now this rumor could very well be true, but then again if I sat my cat Thurber at a keyboard, eventually he'd type Lincoln's Gettysburg address too.

They're getting so desperate that they'll give credence to an anonymous post regarding an unfounded rumor in an anonymous e-mail which contradicts the half dozen or so unsubstantiated rumors already floating around on that board.

Oh, Darwin! Why have you abandoned us?
