Mold in medalion? I don't know just how reliable my information is but I was informed this evening at work that there is mold growing in the medalion garage. That is new construction so how could this be? But my co-worker swears it is fact. Anyone else hear about it?
Word on the street is there are a few oil spots as well under some parked cars. There were fingerprints all over the glass and brushed metal in the elevators too - it made me shudder.
Mold? Damn, and my boss from Hartford is parking in that garage this evening. Maybe I should giver her a call now, just to warn her about the killer mold spores from hell.
Jeez, what's next? Perhaps undocumented reports of urination in the Nay Aug pools?

Oh Mold ... well it is an outdoor garage ... where is the offending mold ... is it in the elevator ... or is it outside ... hmmmm ... mold this is very serious ...
Some facts about Mold:
Lesson 1 - What Molds Are
Molds are organisms that may be found indoors and outdoors. They are part of the natural environment and play an important role in the environment by breaking down and digesting organic material, such as dead leaves. Also called fungi or mildew, molds are neither plants nor animals; they are part of the kingdom Fungi.
Molds can multiply by producing microscopic spores (2 - 100 microns [m] in diameter), similar to the seeds produced by plants. Many spores are so small they easily float through the air and can be carried for great distances by even the gentlest breezes. The number of mold spores suspended in indoor and outdoor air fluctuates from season to season, day to day, and even hour to hour.
Mold spores are ubiquitous; they are found both indoors and outdoors. Mold spores cannot be eliminated from indoor environments. Some mold spores will be found floating through the air and in settled dust; however, they will not grow if moisture is not present.
Mold is not usually a problem indoors -- unless mold spores land on a wet or damp spot and begin growing. As molds grow they digest whatever they are growing on. Unchecked mold growth can damage buildings and furnishings; molds can rot wood, damage drywall, and eventually cause structural damage to buildings. Mold can cause cosmetic damage, such as stains, to furnishings. The potential human health effects of mold are also a concern. It is important, therefore, to prevent mold from growing indoors.
Seems to me that Mold in an outdoor garage that will be damp due to the rains ... is not the same problem as having mold in your home ... office ... or school. Mold will not eat away at concrete and steel ... which is what the parking garage is constructed of ... now ... if say Molly Brannigans has the mold problem that would not be good ... however if someone saw mold growing in the garage ... if we soak it with bleach and let the bleach sit for a few moments ... well it will kill the mold ... scrub up the area and ... wow ... guess what ... no more mold ... it's a pretty simple thing to take care of actually ... so we can all stop panicing over the mold ...
Maybe Shari can pass this information on to our friends across the hall as we are not able to respond to their posts.

Un-huh, she'd be our messenger-girl alright. And she would go over there with the whole truth, just like she spreads her whacko dd bull$hit here. We might actually find out who she is if she did that. She'd never let that happen.
Nancy? You are something Art. btw it's "shari". I know, I know. another blank response. You're so clever. Quite the ego you've got. I wasn't talking about you - I was talking about someone named Sherri. You don't know her.
