Don't change the channel yet Ihave. From what I heard this morning, another big fish was just caught in the Pilchesky net. News at 11, probably in the next few days. You heard it here first. Wow, a PD.com exclusive! See how valuable I am!
thats fabulous...but is it the usual Pilcheski catch and release. I watch this show every now and then called the deadliets catch. It is a good show. They are crabfishermen in the Adriatic sea. If the crab is not a specific size they have to throw them back.Joe would be the brokest fisherman ever. But I bet back at theharbor he'd haves the best stories.
New Delinquent Tax Ordinance: When does it take effect? Does anyone know? Something has to be done to challenge this latest form of Gatelli/Doherty rape. The sooner the better. There is case law on this matter that favors the taxpayers. Another tip of the betrayal and disloyalty hat to Gatelli. One more knife into the backs of the taxpayers. But, like her lawyer George Reihner says, she's an honest person of esteem and integrity in society. She sure as hell looks like a corrupt thief to me. What about the elderly on a fixed income? People in a struggle? It was Gatelli who put this on the agenda. She didn't have to. I wasn't watching, was it a 3 - 2 vote before she bailed out?

OHHHH Baby!! Maybe Joey could get his win record up a little with this one..ya think? Wow he must be what.... almost..maybe..could be..2 for 30 at this point? Yikes he is a regular little Clarence Darrow isn't he? OMG I can hardly stand the suspence...you?
RE: Pilchesky vs. McDowell - Petition to toss from ballot Neither Mr. McDowell, nor anyone who may be on the other end of his puppet strings, filed a response to the petition today. It was due to be filed today pursuant to an Order of the Court. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe never, who knows with McDowell. I had a lot of people tell me he'd completely ignore the petition. They might be right. Bad move if he does. This is not the type of Court Order one should ignore under the circumstances. It's the type of Court Order where if you don't comply with it, there's a law that says, "you lose for failure to respond timely."
I would think that Mr. McDowell has a lawyer (one that went to law school) who is advising him on what action to take or not to take ... hell I would ignore a lawsuit by this guy ... he's like a gnat ... very annoying ...
Stomp you little feet ... maybe the will get Mr. McDowell to stand up and take notice of you ... get out that highchair we have another toddler that needs a place to sit ... Sorry Shari you have to give up the highchair for your mentor ... he needs it more than you ... maybe a little snacky will make him happy!

I wouldn't trust Ken McDowell with a bucket of dead fish, but I expect he's got enough smarts to hire himself someone with the know-how to to one-up the old man across the hall.

Still waiting Sheri!! Did I miss it?
However Clarence had another big day in court today! Now while I will be the first to admit that auditing your own books is a not a good idea! Really not a good idea! Kenny did not write the election law. If the law does not prohibit him from running for that office than at least for the time being there is no wrong doing here. Now on the same point just because something isn't illegal doesn't mean it's right either. So I think Clarence would be much better served if he put his effort to changing the law to reflect one officer holder can not run for another office if in fact the second office will have authority to audit over the first office during the same person's tenure. (I am sure someone legal minded could write it a whole lot better than i just said but you get my drift.) This was clearly a loop hole that no one ever picked up on before, nothing else. Any thoughts Glenn? You seem well versed in election law. Were am I going wrong here?
It's a darned shame Joe wasn't around when O.J. was on trial. The Juice would have had the prints of the slammer door embedded on his ass long before there would have been talk of a bloody glove.

Miss me dear? I'm still around. We were gone camping at Knobels for a week. The kids love that park and so do I. It takes me back to the good old days. McDowell was the one I spoke of weeks ago, "about to be caught in the net." Hey, Lus! Did you just see that pig flying through North Scranton? And backwards too?
McDowell was the one I spoke of weeks ago, "about to be caught in the net."
Oh brother!! That was the big scoop? Joey creates another bruhahahah and you call that news? Joey picking out yet another person to sue is hardly news! It isn't even veryinteresting anymore. Actually it is growing pathetic. Talk about a person who needs attention. Joey gives new meaning to the word "needy".
Aga, Pilchesky is not my boss and the avatar was not put up by me. Actually I never picked an avatar. One of your friends puts them there. One of the boys I presume.
Ihave, it was a scoop none the less, wasn't it? Talk about someone needs attention? You have a web site dedicated to him. You all cut and paste from his web site. Your very reason for being here is because of him. Is it pot or kettle?
sharilewis wrote: it was a scoop none the less, wasn't it? Shari,
Saying that Pilchesky sued someone is a scoop is like saying...
...you are surprised that Tuesday follows Monday ...you are shocked at the lack of black drivers in NASCAR ...you are convinced that Yoko Ono broke up the Beatles ...you are dismayed that the Nigerian fellow didn't wire $2.5 million into your checking account after sending you that heart-wrenching email
Scoop? This would be more of a scoop...
"Janet Evans met with the Mayor, without the Legion in tow, to discuss ways to improve the city."
Now that would be a scoop.

I agree. The mayor, sincerely , inviting Janet Evans to discuss improving the city would not be a scoop. It would be more like a miracle. She did a very bad thing when she came to office. She had the nerve to question his majesty. So did Gary DiBileo and Brian Reap. You witnessed the result of those actions too.
Now back to the question: do you really think Pilchesky suing someone is a 'scoop', or are you going to not answer that, just like you've failed to answer the question why you won't reveal your DD identify?
As for the Mayor, I've given him lumps here...if you choose not to read that stuff, that's your business.

Since Janet feels the need to show up unannounced with her posse in tow, I wouldn't be so inclined to welcome her into my office with open arms either. We all know she has a monsterous chip on her shoulder as far as the Mayor is concerned. Then add to it all the chips on the shoulders of the posse she had in tow. Jeepers, with all those chips we might be able to fill in all the holes on the Davis Trail.
Maybe if she took the high road for a change and made an appointment and showed up professionally without trying to submarine the guy, he might be more inclined to have an actual conversation with her.
Personally, I can't look at the woman without wondering each and every time, just whose back the knife is in and which way she is going to turn it.
I'd say a scoop is something that I post before it's out there. Yeah, I thought it was a scoop. Ok?
Girl, I don't agree with Evans bringing people with her to a meeting either. But consider what started the bad blood. It wasn't her, it was him. Just like the unions. He started that too. Just like why DiBileo ran against him. DiBileo didn't start that feud either. And now that the people are up in arms about a tax increase, they supported him and he screwed them. That makes him to blame for starting the downfall of his political career.
:::Ihave, it was a scoop none the less, wasn't it? ::::
No.... it wasn't! News happens naturally, it isn't created. Joey creates events and calls them news. I prefer my news the oldfashioned way, I wait for it to happen, I don't need anyone to create it!
Ok, it wasn't a scoop. It was another Pilchesky lawsuit that you heard here before he did it or announced it on the site. Then again, when I posted that, I had no idea he was going to sue. I heard it a few days before he announced it and thought he was just going to post about the possible conflict of McDowell taking the Controller's seat. I actually heard Mellow (John) was going to sue, but apparently Pilchesky beat him to the punch. I won't call anything a scoop anymore, I'll just say it's an "early indication of a possible point of interest". Is that kosher with ya'll?
