JArbola is investigating the Meeting and will assess as to whether or not any audience members were acting in a disorderly way or contributed to the hault of city business. I can tell yo uthi, this will prove to be the beginning of the end of this movement started by union heads and orchestrated byJOe Pilchesky. Sam Patilla is an unstable man on the verge of a nervous breakdown. If he is questioned with threat of punishment by people he deems " part of the problem" he will most definitly crack. What happens next is anyones guess. Will he inmplicate others that have guided his rants. Will he disclose information leading to ID's of posters? I have a feeling this is the beginning of the end for the DD crowed being able to post whatever they want.

I think it's going to get much worse from here on, actually. The countersuit will fail, and Judy Gatelli will be put through the wringer answering questions about every aspect on her existence. It will be unpleasant, to say the least.

They're imploding Glenn, it should be obvious to you by now. Joe can control himself, but controlling the public behavior of his followers has proven to be near impossible. Whatever happens to Gatelli in court is irrelevant. Pilchesky is being defined as a madman, not a hero.

I hope both suits get thrown out of court, and both are ordered to refrain from filing any sort of legal action for a year, to be quite honest. This town does not need another one of their infantile lawsuits. Enough is enough already. Like a friend of mine from out of town commented to me the other day, "if the people spending all that energy bitching about and suing each other did something useful, like turning a turbine, y'all could probably have free electricity for the rest of your life."

I think the entire situation is just going to get worse and worse. Mrs. Gatelli is unraveling as quickly as some of the speakers at the meeting. Assuming the "outing" of the DD posters is not going to happen, what is the next step? The lawsuit has some merit, in that Mrs. Gatelli DID accuse people of criminal conspiracy, so that isn't going anywhere. The public speaking portion of the meetings has to be allowed with no restrictions on topic. Sooner or later, someone is going to have some of the questions hanging over the city budget.

It will get worse. These things always do.

What's sad is that NONE of this has anything to do with city business. Pilchesky can claim all he wants that he is out to rid the city of corruption, but the fact s point otherwise...

...encouraging the podium rants of Patilla
...allowing Antisemiticmovements to spew vile racist crap
...encouraging vulgar sexual induendo about female council members

ALL of this will is now coming to the forefront and will be display in spades in the courtroom.

In the end, Judy Gatelli may not have to win her suit in order to prove that Pilchesky is nothing more than a thug...Pilchesky is doing that for her.

I've said it at dd.com prior to my many bannings, I'll say it again here: this won't end until someone gets hurt or killed. The goons at dd.com can't control themselves. One of them will do something in "the name of Joe," or some crazy crap like that.

That place is like nerve gas or radiation - you don't want to be anywhere near it when it goes off. Instead of making it better by being a real political activist and web moderator, Joe just keeps fanning the flames.

The lawsuits are irrelevant, the rest of this will end badly. Mark my words. We're dealing with the most warped and unstable people in the city. One of them will go off.

Sadly my friend I couldn't agree more. I have long been concerned about the same thing. Ijust can't decide which side will go off first. The nuts who may be spawing a "real" nut who wants to "help" the cause and does something awful or the normals (victims of the nuts at DD) who gets pushed beyond their endurance to cope. I think at this point is a 50/50 crap shoot.... could go either way. :(

Prior to my banning I made that point exactly. When Dave Evans followed Fanucci to her car to confront her after a meeting a few months ago that could have ended tragically. If Fanucci were my wife and he pulled that stunt he'd still be looking for his teeth and walking with a limp.

Sooner or later this will end badly.
