Mr. McDowell is truly the incompetent you suggest. the office is seriously mismanaged. I obersved Mr. Spano's campaign and while I do not recall everything, I do remember he was certified by the state as a tax collector. Took a course or soemthing. But the idea Midvalley Flash is floating that Mr. Spano is 'dirty' in some manner and is the 'King of absentee fraud" makes me wonder now. What do you mean by this charge? Fraud is a pretty strong word and I do not recall anything reported regarding this. Are you sure you do not have him confused with Joe Vadella in Carbondale who actually served time for absentee fraud?

Second as a bit of follow up on Spano, I did a google and a dogpile search and found nothing remotely resembling what Mid valley Flash wrote. I did find that Spano wrote a book, chaired some environmental committee in Harrisburg and was on the home rule commission in Scranton where he argued for ways to make the mayor behave. I do not think he is the medal winning swimmer, the real estate guy in Florida or the art/music critic. I cannot vote in any Scranton election but was hoping he could win and thought he would be a good guy for the people. If any of Midvalley Flash's charges are true that is disappointing but as I wrote, I found nothing remotely like that in the searches I did. Anyone?

Are you serious, someone is actually asking for proof to back a statement up, since when...........(omg I think I just saw a pig flying outside my window) ha ha ha ha ha. I don't recall seeing proof of statements that were made numerous times on DD, I guess they must like Charlie Spano, its when they don';t like you that proof well it just does not exist.

Ducky ... I think that they were supporters of Charlie Spano ... so that's why they want proof of the allegations ... I have to agree with them on this one ... it's one thing to say that you think he's dirty looking ... although it's not nice ... if that's your opinion ... but then again I do not know what that has to do with anything ... as far as the criminal behavior that they the poster claims to know of ... well he should back that up with proof ... actually they should be made to back it up and if they cannot ... then that particular post should be taken down. The poster should be told about the post ... I remember here we had a poster TrippParkProud ... who admittedly stalked workers of the DPW ... we took it down and had a vote on banning ... well the vote went his way ... he was not banned ... but during the voting time ... I believe that it was 3 days ... he was not allowed to post ... He made the decision to delete his membership when he found out how different we were from DD ... we did not tolerate the things and behaviors that they tolerated ... he just couldn't cope with that ... but if he signed up today ... he would be welcome once again ... as long as he abided by our rules of conduct. __________________ I want everyone to stop and think about one thing ... Joe Pilchesky is not a lawyer ... he's just a guy playing a lawyer on the internet. Please don't trust your legal needs to this man.
