Gatelli missed deadline to respond to libel lawsuit

After ducking the Sheriff for a couple weeks, service of the lawsuit against Judy Gatelli was made on April 30th, 2007 in her offical capacity as President of Council. Attached to the Complaint for Libel was a Notice to Defend giving her twenty days to respond. That deadline has passed. All of a sudden, talkative Gatelli isn't in the mood for further discussisng her death threat claims and claims that Janet Evans and myself conspired to impose criminal acts upon her. What happens now is that I will serve with a "Ten Day Notice" that legally requires her to respond within 10 days or she loses by default. We'll see what happens. Do you think Gatelli would like to have those words back? You reap what you sow.

Juda goes from being put to the back of the bus to being thrown under the wheels. Who put Gatelli up to the 'death threats and Evans conspiracy theory' scheme? That was a beauty. Now what Gatelli? Pilchesky called your bluff and now all the chips are on the table. Now what Gatelli?

I think she'll reply. She won't want that judgement entered against her, it might find its way to her SOFI next yearbiggrin

Besides, do you really think she want her Connell St. property to have a new address...#1 Pilchesky way?

RE: Gatelli missed deadline to respond to libel lawsuit

About 10 years ago while living in Altoona, I got myself sued for libel. It was a pretty messy affair for me. I knew the things I was saying weren't true but I didn't think I was going to be sued. I spent five grand on a lawyer who basically told me I had two choices. I either had to prove what I said was true or pay up, that was it. Mrs. Gatelli faces the same two choices, prove it or pay. There's no getting around it. I read the lawsuit against her and it sounds a lot like mine did. I didn't want to file an answer to mine either because there was nothing I could say to prove what I said was true. I lost my house over that ordeal, and then some.

RE: Gatelli missed deadline to respond to libel lawsuit

The Doherty/Mellow people were cramming it down Gatelli's and Fanucci's throats for months that Pilchesky and Evans were teamed up to take them down. They even tried to put fake posters up on this board but they couldn't pull off the registration with fake email addresses. If they got on, they would have posted death threats to seal the deal and that's what was supposed to happen. It all got screwed up when the Pilcheskys iced their registrations, apparently no one was willing to use their real email address to register. Both Gatelli and Fanny got threateneing phone calls and letters, but they didn't come from Pilchesky. You'll never read about that in the Times. Both women were used to try to silence the Pilcheskys and take this board down. The reward: jobs. Sherry got hers, but Gatelli has yet to be greased.

They couldn't get the key guy on board, much to his credit - Jarbola.

Joe, check your PM's. And, keep your eye on the deed to Gatelli's house. Rumor is it's about to make a move.

Got it. You're a doll.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Sometimes I get a small piece of the puzzle, sometimes a big piece, but seldom do I get all four corners, and then some. Careful there Gatelli, review your situation.

Gatelli missed deadline to respond to libel lawsuit

Would it be legal for a deed to be transfered if there is litigation hanging over your head?? Kind of like transferring assets before going to a nursing home.

RE: Gatelli missed deadline to respond to libel lawsuit

It is very interesting, how some people think they cannot be sued. There are laws about using someone for their enjoyment and pass time of talking, posting or whatever means they use. To accuse someone of anything or calling names. Better have real damn proof.I'm right behind you Joe. It is going to be interesting on what Judy's excuse will be. What is more interesting is what her proof is !!
