- Why is Paul O'Malley allowed to be on the school board if he's a school district employee? Where's Joe on that one? Not a big enough fish?

-Why is the board so silent about the clear losses by Legion of Doom candidates? Leading up to the election you'd think McGoff had no chance. Very little chatter about him, McDowell, Cordaro, etc. I suspect that they still think they have an actual impact on things when time and time again it is proven in the voting booth that the vast majority of city and now county residents don't agree with dd.com.

-Read the "comments heard on election day" thread. Why is nonsense like that even allowed to be posted and go unchallenged. An anonymous poster makes an anonymous and unattributed accusation and Joe leaves the post up. Why? Where's the standard? Where's the credibility? That board is filled with unattributed anonymous accusations and no one ever demands proof or facts. Joe should be leading that charge but chooses to ignore those posts because many of them attack pols he dislikes. Who's bias again? The newspaper?

Looking to get banned? Try to start a conversation about any of those topics.

All you need to do at DD to get banned is to even suggest that Janet Evans is anything less than perfect. I don't understand the hypocrisy over there. joe claims to be bipartisan and that his desire is to fight political corruption, but this never applies to Janet Evans or should I say "NotADumbBlonde."

I can answer the Paul O'Malley thing for you Art ... he is not actually on the School Board yet ... this same thing happened a few years ago when Joe Brazil ran for school director ... if he had won the general election he would have been expected to resign his position with the SSD ... but he didn't make it through the primary.

Paul O'Malley is retiring in August 2007, therefore he is allowed to run because he at the time should he win will no longer be employed by the SSD.

Art I do not have the answers to your other issues ... but I hope that is helpful to you.

Paul... you are right ... no words that would put Janet in a bad light will ever be tolerated

I'm a Yankees fan and I cringe every time I see that ball go between Buchner's legs. My heart breaks for you pal, seriously. I love to hate you guys, but 2 outs, 2 strikes...are you kidding me? You rarely ever get over a thing like that. Of course coming back from 0-3 and beating the Yanks to on to and win the series is a good way to start.
