Voter Analysis Well, all you political experts - let's hear some deep analysis of the vote. How about McDowell? I thought he'd win, but not by that many votes. I think Glenn pulled a good vote, but he was fighting the "Irish" vote and the incumbent vote. I did not think Washo would pull 24,500 votes. But, Brennan and Karpovich pulled 30,000 - that means there might be another 5-6,000 votes that will go Washo's way in November. That 5-6,000 probably pulled one lever for either Corey or Evie -- or -- there is an outside chance that some or most of those votes belong to Bob and A.J. - the D crossover vote.
Here's another option, Mr. Head-so-far-up-his-own-ass-that-he-can't-see-the-forest-through-the-trees....
Maybe some people didn't vote for Washo at all. *gasp!*
Or only voted for one candidate. *double gasp!*
Or didn't vote in that contest at all. *passes out!*
And stop overusing "pull" when referring to voting. We haven't pulled a lever in Lackawanna County in well over a year. Move on to overusing another trite phrase.
it's more of a touch now ... I touched Cashuric ... sounds kind of dirty doesn't it?
(I know ... I know ... no pickin on the new guy) Just kidding Glen ...

RE: DOWN GOES GATELLI FOR SCHOOL DIRECTOR If Andy is interested, there are people very willing to get behind him for the General. The sooner we know the better. The leprocy of Doherty has shown its ugly head, and will continue to do so. The leprocy of Gatelli just compounded things for these crony candidates. I'm pleased that Popil was thrashed. He spent the most money, as you will see as soon as I can post the campaign finance reports that I have in my possession. Popil throw away 20K, much of it his own money, according to the campaign report, to find out that alignment with Doherty is the surest kiss of political death these days.
If Andy isn't interested, it may be a lucky day for the Pizza Guy. A focus, energy, effort and money will go toward taking McGoff down. He has to go, and money cannot be an issue. We, the people, have to get behind a candidate and put our money where out mouths are. I'd prefer it to be Andy if he'll go for it.
One question: If alignment with Doherty is the surest kiss of political death these days, WHY THEN DID McGOFF WIN??????
