Certified letter to Doherty "Let's walk the walk publicly ASAP" I really liked those words spoken by the mayor, "I want everything out in the open". Sounded good to me, but talking the talk doesn't cut it at DD, so I sent him a certified letter respectfully requesting that we now walk the walk, or debate, the hot issues in this city ASAP, and do it very publicly. The letter is an offering to bury the hatchet, so to speak, and it lists the issues I'd like to address with him on a marathon televised debate broadcast by 61 on a Saturday or Sunday. It also gives him the opportunity to take his best shot at me, face to face. I say he's all talk and no walk, a big bull****ter, who will not back up his play by showing up publicly to answer specific questions about his corrupt administration and the corrupt people working in it. What a f u c k i n g idiot this guy is! JOE!!!! STOP RUINING MY CITY!!!!

Proves nothing, really. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that it's authentic, it merely shows tha the got a receipt for a (random) letter he sent to the mayor. B.F.D. Where are all the receipts for the CCs? Surely they went certified as well, because otherwise, hell, someone might accuse him of talking out of his ass. Again.
Imagine that...
Not to make light of the recent tragedy in Blacksburg, but I hope that when Joe finally snaps, and he will, he remembers that the correct order for a murder-suicide rampage should always be suicide first. Joe can thank me my making sure his aim is true and his hand is steady.
Actually, using Pilchesky's logic, Mayor Doherty should come with his own list of loaded issues including....
1. Your relationship to Janet Evans & her participation on the DD website as a contributor. 2. Your allowing the identification and criticism of children on the DD website. 3. The circumstances surrounding the hiring of Janet Evans to a Scranton School District full-time teaching position (I know, not directly related, but hell...it's a good question to ask!). 4. The failure of DD website administration to delete postings that encouraged the stalking of public officials. 5. Your blatant slander of Senator Mellow*, well before he said word one about you. 6. Your blatant slander of Judge Harhut, well before he said word one about you. 7. The Pilchesky record of success in the courtroom (that's 0-28 I believe). 8. The identification of city hall employees who post on the DD website during working hours**. 9. The identification of Scranton School District employees who post on the DD website during working hours. 10. Your encouraging and allowing unsubstantiated claims of marital infidelity to be publically posted at DD, knowing full well that families with minor children are negatively impacted by such rumors.
...and I could go on, but I think that's a start
(*) Personally, I think Senator Mellow has done a less-than-stellar job as a public official & as a result I never vote for the guy. That said, there is no reason to make all sorts of wild-ass accusations about the man's personal life. What the man does on his own time is none of my OR Joe Pilchesky's g-damn business. (**) The Mayor should direct the Scranton IT Department to immediately block access to the DD site (and other hate-speech sites, pornography, etc.) from municipal computers. Same thing for the Scranton School District. For the life of me I don't understand why this isn't already done.

I heard it rumoured that Chris ran over a frog in his driveway last summer - how come that wasn't on the list of the terrible things he has done as mayor?
Freakin' A - the old man needs to dip a little more into the prozac.
Girl you got the story all wrong ... it was not a frog ... it was snake ... it wasn't in the summer it was in the fall ... and the worst thing about it ... the poor snake had 5 little snakes that were left without a mother because of this terrible tradegy ... but it wasn't really the Mayor's fault because he was on the cell phone with George Parker at the time and didn't see the snake ... so therefore we can conclude that this terrible tragic event was the fault of George Parker ... who was riding in a car with Ray Hayes so I guess Ray is also at Fault ... but what I really want to know is this ... Why the hell didn't Sammy Vitris who at the time driving by on the street sweeper, save the snake?
Now I really don't know if this story is true ... but I was at Smith's and I overheard two little old ladies telling the story ... so that must mean it's true! When we investigate this matter and take pictures of the scene of the snake slaying ... we will be able to further determine who is at fault ... but let me tell you this when I get to the bottom of this I'm going to file a lawsuit against all parties involved. Heads will roll (figure of speech this is in no way a threat) over this one!
Next time get your story staight ... we will have no rumors here at PD!

Jees - to make sure this tragedy does not happen again, we had better call the O.S.M to break out the drills. Now this will be very hush hush, so don't go mentioning it on your website or message board.
