If you're going to have an enemy, he might as well be as predictable as the day is long.

I've reviewed the last 50 posts, and my staff is going to review the last 500 over the next three days, one by one.

I ban posters all the time, and not a day goes by that I don't have to edit something for clarity or a typo, I already have a huge lawsuit against the State Police and the DA's Office from the last episode of poor judgment attacking my site.

There is a laundry list of constitutional and civil rights violations that I can file one at a time, which I'll do, and your lawyers can spend their days fighting them in both federal and state court.

I can go looking for motives for the public attack on me even before I file all of the lawsuits. What I don't like, and what really, really annoys me is when I'm counted out when I wasn't even in the ring.

I don't know who said it, but whoever said it knew what they were talking about. Of course, we thank all of those who have adopted us as their place to go to express themselves and to get information regarding the recent outrage over the cameras, as well as the well documented corruption of this mayor and his gang of cronies.

I also promised Art to contact the writer and ask him to tone it down.

Your welcome honey ... glad you like what we are doing here. I am sorry to see that you feel that way about the Mayor ... but to each his/her own.

This was not started if you remember because of what was written about the Mayor though ... it was started because you all stuck your noses into the personal business and made a private family issue very public ... and the fact that you banned users that spoke out against that ... depriving us of our freedom of speech. You claimed that you were the champion of free speech ... and well only if the people speaking agree with you ... so that is how this place was born ... I don't know the circumstances of the banning of the rest of the members on this site ... but I'm sure that it is a similar story ...

Just kidding. You're safe, like all others. I don't see any direct threat, it's only a contrasting opinion of perhaps how you'd better serve the purposes of civic mindedness. Take it with a grain of salt. I don't agree with "V", I think you serve a hearty purpose on this forum. Where would we be without a little stirring antagonistic warfare. You can appreciate the sincerity, I'm sure. However, since you feel that your life is threatened, (not sure how) I have contacted the poster "V" and advised him/her to lighen up a little. He/she doesn't post often, but when he/she does, it's usually colored in revolutionary passion - sometimes compassion, but not necessarily in your case. I think that Joe Pilchesky should have taken this a bit more seriously ... since the member Darth Art expressed to him that well ... he was feeling threatened by the poster ... but again special rules for special people over at Doherty Deceit.

I agree that you are not the voice of all citizens of the City of Scranton ... but on your website you claim to be ... and you are always spouting off about the freedom of speech being very important to you ... but you my friend are the biggest offender when it comes to denying people the right to the freedom of speech. You often speak for everyone ... at least you claim that you are speaking for the entire city ... You're free to think what you want, I won't beg you to realize who you're dealing with, you'll find out the hard way. I sincerely hope everyone understands that I absolutely must maintain an independent posture, since at any time, for whatever reason, I may launch an attack, and I don't want to hear from anyone that I should or should not have based upon any affiliation with anyone politically, or through advertising, even if it seems harmless. I like shooting first and asking questions later, if that helps you to understand.

Here is what I think ... you are here being as polite as polite as can be ... on some sort of fishing expidition for the DD people ... you think you can gain some trust over here ... and we will fall in line ... well you brought it to the wrong place ... these members are free thinking individuals ... we know how we feel about different things ... I'm not an expert on writing styles, but the above postings don't seem to be the same style employed by serial plantiff Joe Pilchesky. Mind you, we know that there are actually two Pilchesky writing styles:

1. His typical style, evidenced in most postings. I'm not knocking the guy, as he isn't a terrible writer, as least as far as I am concerned. However, you have to take that comment within the context of all DD posters; for example, compared to Granma, the Pilchesky is a regular T.S. Eliot.

2. His 'enhanced' style, when he gets professional help with his sentence structure & language (Classic Example: His 'defense' of not allowing free speech on DD, despite the fact that the site is advertised as a place where, you guessed it, free speech is allowed).


So I suggest we name this one 'Faux' Pilchesky. Seems to fit.

Oh, and Faux Pilchesky: Maybe you haven't taken the time to really read the postings here, so some confusion is understandable. However, let me spell something out for you: Many of us aren't so much pro-Chris Doherty as we are anti-DD/LoD Goons. Don't believe me...then simply pose a sane, rational question to the group about the Mayor.

I put this post up not because it's particularly interesting but because there is one word in the post which makes me certain this is little miss Jan. Only a very few people would remember to put a (') AFTER the (s) in speakers as it is used in that sentence.It is both plural and possessive (speakers) is plural but (speakers' time) is both plural and possessive. So basically the people who tend to remember those pesky little rules of English are....................... biggrinbiggrin
