How about if you all get there early as you always do ... sign in ... take your seats ... do not tell new people that they are not welcome (I was told this when I went there last year to speak) as you all are not the only ones with problems and you do not decide who can and cannot speak ...make sure that your thoughts are organized before you step to the podium (try writing them down and reading through them to make sure they fit into the time allotted) ... present them in a dignified and polite manner (you can make a strong point in a dignified manner) ... and when your time is up ... step away from the podium ... Do not heckle others who are speaking (which you all do on a regular basis) ... do not attack the council members ... and they will not argue with you ... Stop picking on their families ... and stick only to the issue at hand ... I think if we all made these rules of our Council Meeting Attendance then order would be restored ... and more productive meetings could be held ... it's just a few thoughts and only my opinion.
