The tool man banned me again - this time for my tirade against his selective and petty take on what free speech is, and how guys like Ray Lyman died overseas defending Joe's version of free speech.

Here's what got me banned - first Joe's rah rah speech...

No, the problem is that many thousands of men like Ray Lyman were slaughtered on foreign soil so that you can freely condemn those who benefit from that slaughter. You're turning my stomach. If free speech doesn't work for you because you're too much of a sissy to use it, then keep your mouth shut while others are. That, or move into a third world country where you can still be dragged out into the street and shot for doing something so blatant as to speak.

No one like Ray ever died defending free speech. Guys like himn only benefit from it.

I'll tell you right now that me and my pals in GW1 weren't fighting for Ray Lyman or the alleged right to have TV cameras in council, we fought because our country made a deal to protect Kuwait and we were the muscle behind that deal.

We fought to uphold our end of the bargain and bring freedom back to an innocent victim of a country.

Don't dare compare ANYTHING that happens in this country to the brutality that exists elsewhere.

And yes, I have appeared in front of city council - I just don't see a need to where it like a badge of honor. I spoke my peace (more than once) and let it go at that.

Free speech is something we all deserve. Problem is many people here look at it as some sort of pay as you go -what's in it for me entitlement. That's BS. Our founding fathers never guaranteed free speech to the guys who were tough enough to prove they deserved it. They guaranteed we all got it. Just because you can spout off at council or host a web site doesn't mean you deserve it any more than anyone else. In fact, you deserve it less. I'll cheer for the quiet and humble man any day over the loudmouth- look at me blowhard any day.

I fought side by side with Saudi's in Khafji, and never once heard them complain about "free speech." We had it, have it, and will continue to have it - the rest of the world is envious of that. Why do you pretend it's an issue? No one is silencing you. This site's very existence is proof of that.

I'll assume I just got banned.

 

(This all came after Joe's "warning" to me a few days ago for picking on Granny. Damn, I guess DeerParkLumber will be bored now.)
