Sue-happy Lisa Moran....DD is right on this one...

I hate to start a thread agreeing with DD, but in this case, I agree with them 100%.  Lisa Moran and her husband are suing Pee-Wee's garage because Mr. Moran helped Lou Venturi when his foot was stuck under a tow truck, and now Moran is claiming he's hurt and SUING Pee-Wee's.  What a kick in the pants.  Tne guy gets his foot suck under a tow truck and then gets sued.

Maybe its something in the water in that Green Ridge neighborhood.  It seems Lisa Moran is sue-happy just like Pilchesky, and they are neighbors.

I surely hope the judge looks at that frivolous piece of crap suit and tosses it out.  I'm a customer of Pee-Wee's, and I can attest that they do good, honest work, and Mr. Venturi is a good man.

Lisa Moran sues for loss of consortium with hubby, yet she's PG.

It seems Lisa and husband Tim were walking along minding their own business when a tow truck operater, Pee Wee's Garage, somehow got his foot stuck under his truck and was calling for help. Tim obliged and in the process somehow hurt his ankle, which is not fully explained in the lawsuit against Pee Wee except that somehow Tim lifted the tow truck off the guy. Tim sued for the whole laundry list of pain and suffering due to his ankle injury. Tim is claiming if it weren't for Pee Wee getting his foot caught under his truck, he wouldn't have run to his aid and he wouldn't have gotten hurt. So, if a guy is drowning, and you decide to try to save him and drown yourself, the drowning victim is at fault somehow.  Sounds like a personal choice to me. Who forced Tim to do anything? Sounds like Tim had no idea what he was doing, but who knows what happened.

Lisa joined the lawsuit, complaining among other things that she suffers from a loss of consortium with her husband, (over an ankle injury??) and all kinds of other care and comfort losses. The accident happened on July 6, 2005, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she have a child since then and she is PG now? Some loss of consortium. Click on the link below to see the lawsuit that was filed 2/27/07.

An ankle injury that caused loss of consortium?????  Must be a big ankle.

I have a buddy who was born without a leg, his wife doesn't complaint at all. Matter-in-fact, she says once she takes his crutch off him, he's all hers to do with as she pleases.  What loss of consortium is there to an ankle injury, does he talk and think with it or what?

Is this really true? Can you sue someone for something you did voluntarily? How can they be responsible? Maybe it's just a ploy to get a settlement, rather than Peewee's having to fight this in court. That trick is age old.

That has to be the funniest thing I ever read.  Good old Tim didn't seem to have a problem in that ankle when he was hauling cases of beer for Congrove's did he?
These people are thieves.  Lying dirty thieves with no morals.
DISGUSTING!

If this is true I agree it's a pretty low thing to do ... where did they get this information over there?  Was this something in the Scranton Times today?  Do they have the lawsuit up over there, the actual court papers that were filed?  Or is this just another DD wild rumor?

I need more than the say so of the DD gang to have this posted over here ... what say you all?

They have the lawsuit posted at DD:  http://www.dohertydeceit.com/MoranvPeewee.PDF#page=1

Also, I did see this in the courthouse news section of the Times about 2 weeks ago.

Grapevine has it that the situation was described by some as perilous.

Jeez, who writes these things? You'd think a law firm could at least take $10 out of petty cash and buy themselves a thesaurus.
