Parade and lights

Is it me, or has anyone else noticed the MANY traffic lights that are no longer working? I stopped calling them in after getting the typical attitude from the guy who answers the phone at the police station. It seems that the City's efforts are so concentrated on hanging Irish flags that they've neglected traffic lights.

The police are not responsible for fixing the burned out traffic lights.  That's probably why your getting attitude.  If you called PennDOT, you'd probably get much less aggravation, and possibly a result or two.  If all else fails, you can call Dr. Atty. Pilchesky, Staff Potographer.  Maybe he can sue someone.

You all really need to stop blaming the city for every little thing that goes wrong in this town.  You're like the board that cried wolf.

I don't think Mr. Anti really cares who he can complain to or if the lights are working....it was another chance for him to show his anti-Irish bigotry. I'll bet he wouldn't be complaining if the banners were "dohertydeceit.com" banners.

His name really should be AntiIrishMovements. I don;t think he has ever posted anything that didn't take a swipe at the Irish and/or Catholics.

Oh yeah, that's right. They're trying to "whiten Scranton by warding off the black menace."

Wow. I am wondering when Hollywood will discover Scranton. Its a comedy treasure waiting to be discovered. I think council meetings with the LOD could become the next reality-TV hit.

It's already reality TV at it's very best ... on a local level ... but hell Channel 61 wants to raise money ... I would just mass produce those council meetings and sell them ... I'm sure that the 1,139 registered members of DD and the LoD could fund Channel 61 with the orders they would place ... And hell if someone happened to send a copy to Hollywood ... well I'm sure they would be clammering for the rights ... these are some of the most colorful characters ... as the DD'ers posted ... YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS S**T UP!!

Seeing Ray Lyman on TV is like seeing a dead deer along side the road...you know it's disgusting, you know it's wrong to look, but you look never the less.
