This thread does an excellent job of showcasing just what DD is all about... http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=65524&p=3&topicID=10533165 Yes, it showcases it all...rumor mongering, vile name-calling, sex, out right lies and (surpise) the ability of poster Deleware to actually look into the soul of another human being. A few points in response: - I don't care what Sherry does during the day - I don't care where Sherry eats - I don't care what someone overheard Sherry supposedly say; I could go up to a podium make up some remark by Janet Evans...that kind of thing is cheap, to say the least - I don't care about Sherry's divorce...that's a deeply personal matter for her (and her family) to care about...it's NEVER something to make light of - I do care what Sherry does as a member of council...and (in my humble opinion) she has been no less effective as a public servant that former councilman Gary DiBileo. At least she had the spine to take on a difficult issue (public smoking)...Mr DiBileo has made a career on taking non-stand stands. - I do care how Sherry reacts to speakers; a bit of free advice from me to her...ignore the DD/LoD sheep. Do not respond to them. They are only goading you into situations where you can never win. Just let them go...trust me, they are their own worst enemies and will eventuall hang themselves if simplied with enough rope. __________________ Free Speech does't require a multi-paragrah disclaimer Mr. Pilchesky.
