I was cheering for the poor ba$tard who skidded across the finish line on his smokin' roof. Was it my imagination or was the number on his door painted upside down?

Clint Bowyer, driver of the 07 Jack Daniels car and a Harvick teammate, finished 18th (I believe) while on his roof. He made a quick exit once the car righted itself, and walked away from the engine fire. It really is amazing the safety strides the sport has taken, especially in the past 6 years. To simply survive that wreck is incredible in itself; to walk away uninjured is a testament to the safety measures built into the car.
I saw the end of that race Paul and that car come in on it's roof ... I am not a race fan but I have no choice as race fans are all around me at home and most of our friends ... so I did end up seeing the end of that race and was amazed at the fact that the driver walked away ... you are right it is quite a testament to the safety of these vehicles.
Oh by the way ... I live with a Mark Martin fan ... so your guy beat our guy ... LOL ... that was quite the exciting end to that race ... if only the entire race could be that exciting ... I would watch all of the time!
