Because I read the Times regularly, I was under the impression that any crime that occurred was either in South Side or Wilkes-Barre. Now that I've become enlightened by reading DD.com I know the truth.
Crime NEVER took a break from the mayor's neighborhood. The Times wanted me to believe that Green Ridge was crime free - but now I know it's not - thanks DD.com!
Was it just a dream...were there editorials proclaiming Green Ridge crime free? Were there articles that said Green Ridge was crime free? I don't exactlt remember reading anything like that, but i know I can trust DD.com anyday before a family that has invested it's entire name, family and future in this region.
Yep, given the choice of some smart ass college grads and some sharp looking rich guys giving me the news,or Joe Pilchesky giving me the news, I'm going to pick Joe. It just feels right.
I'm also going to ignore the fact that about 80% of the current Times newsroom are people who came here from out of the area and have no ties to anyone here. Yep, I'm going with Pilchesky on this one.
One drive by those houses near the CVS in Green Ridge and I can tell that the Times buried that story. Those shacks were portrayed as mansions, but now we have crime! Damn you Doherty! Damn you all to hell!
This "crime" situation would have never happened if Gary DiBileo was elected, and it will surely go away if Janet Evans ever becomes mayor.
Oh yeah, I', also choosing to ignore the fact that they sat on council and were in a position to propose something, anything, crime related.
It's the way Joe would want it. I'm goose stepping out of here now...
Hmmmmm....there's some insightful photo-journalism at work. Maybe I can go out, take some pictures of dead dogs, and then claim that Joe Pilchesky shot them. Oh, I forgot, we are dealing with the cult of Pilchesky...
"When logic and proportion Have fallen SLOPPY dead And the white knight is talking backwards And the Red Queen's LOST her head Remember what the dormouse Janet Evans said
Feed your head Feed your head" With apologies to the Jefferson Airplane, but that verse (from the song 'Go Ask Alice') is sooooo fitting when it comes to DD.
